This 3.8V, 2580mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full capacity on the Honor 4A platform.
Connector slots into the factory contact frame; no adhesive removal required for reinstallation.
We bench-tested the cell on a stock Honor 4A charger—BMS accepted the pack without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei Honor 4A / SCL-L00 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB4342A1RBC)

This is a 3.8V, 2580mAh (9.8Wh) lithium-polymer cell built to OEM part number HB4342A1RBC. It fits the Honor 4A, Honor 4A Dual SIM, SCL-L00, SCL-L03, and over 30 additional SCL-series variants. If the original cell is swelling, dropping charge quickly, or refusing to power on, this is the direct replacement.

  • SCL-series platform fit: All Honor 4A variants — single SIM and Dual SIM — use the same battery bay geometry, connector pitch, and BMS handshake. The HB4342A1RBC is the one SKU that covers the full SCL hardware family without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on an SCL-L01 unit and confirmed BMS communication, charge acceptance across the full 3.8V nominal range, and cutoff behaviour at both ends of the discharge curve. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage threshold without requiring a manual reset.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins. Skipping this step is the primary cause of erratic percentage readings in the first week.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Honor 4A after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity defect. Under peak modem load or screen brightness, the new cell's internal resistance causes a momentary voltage drop that the phone interprets as a dead battery. The PMIC triggers shutdown even though the coulomb counter still shows charge remaining. Running one full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate and eliminates most of these early shutdowns.

Honor 4A not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Lithium-polymer cells shipped or stored for extended periods can drop below the BMS lockout threshold — typically 2.5V per cell. When that happens, the protection circuit cuts output entirely and the phone shows no response. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a PC USB port, and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing any buttons. Most BMS circuits on this cell will accept a trickle pre-charge recovery above 2.5V and resume normal charging from there.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Honor 4A shows 25% battery and just shuts off without warning — is the new cell faulty?

This is a voltage sag problem, not a defective cell. Under high-current load — active calls, GPS, or full screen brightness — the cell's voltage dips sharply enough that the PMIC registers a low-voltage cutoff even though the fuel gauge still reads charge remaining. The fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve and hasn't mapped the new one yet. Run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% without fast charging enabled, and the erratic cutoffs typically stop.

Fast charging stopped working the first time we plugged in the Honor 4A after swapping the battery — what's happening?

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the BMS on the new cell may not immediately handshake with the phone's charge IC at the high-current fast charge rate. The phone defaults to standard 5V charging as a fallback. This is expected behaviour — complete one full standard charge cycle, then reconnect the charger. The BMS and charge IC re-negotiate on the second cycle and fast charging resumes at the correct rate.

The battery percentage on the Honor 4A keeps jumping around — it was at 60%, jumped to 45%, then back to 58% in ten minutes.

The fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter that was calibrated against the original cell's impedance and capacity curve. After a cell replacement, the stored calibration data no longer matches the new cell, causing the percentage reading to jump as the IC misreads voltage-to-charge relationships. Fully discharge the phone until it shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this forces the coulomb counter to reset its endpoints and re-anchor the percentage display to the actual cell capacity.
