Replaces Huawei Honor X1 7D-504L tablet battery HB4269B6EAW.
This 3.7V, 4100mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full power to the Honor X1 display and processor.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot with single locking tab engagement.
We bench-tested this pack on Honor X1 hardware; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS signature on first full cycle without lockout.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei Honor X1 7D-504L — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB4269B6EAW)

This is a 3.7V, 4100mAh (15.17Wh) lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Huawei Honor X1 tablet. It fits the Honor X1 7D-504L and Honor X1 4G 7D-504L. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold a usable charge or fails to power the device at all.

  • Honor X1 7D-504L and 4G variant: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions and connector pinout. The HB4269B6EAW fits both without modification — same 126 x 70 x 4mm cell footprint and identical BMS handshake protocol.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the Honor X1 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC reached CV phase correctly at the expected voltage threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Why the Honor X1 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Honor X1 uses a fuel gauge IC that builds its capacity model from historical charge and discharge data tied to the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references the old curve. Percentage readings will drift — often showing full charge early or dropping faster than expected. One full, uninterrupted discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete charge cycle forces the IC to rebuild its model against the new cell. After that cycle, readings stabilise.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet recalibrated and misreads the cell's remaining voltage headroom. Under load — particularly when the display backlights fully or the modem transmits — the cell voltage drops sharply, crossing the BMS undervoltage cutoff while the OS still shows 20–30%. It is not a faulty cell. Run one complete discharge cycle without interruption, letting the device shut down naturally at 0%, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that cycle the gauge IC recalibrates and cutoffs align with the displayed percentage.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Honor X1 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

The BMS locks out when cell voltage drops below roughly 2.5V, which happens during extended storage. Connect the tablet to its original charger and leave it for 30–45 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will release the lockout. Once voltage climbs above the BMS recovery threshold, the device will power on normally.

Fast charging stopped working after I installed the replacement cell — the tablet charges, but slowly.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the Honor X1 defaults to a reduced current rate until it has confirmed the new cell's impedance profile. This is normal behaviour — not a fault with the battery or the charger. Run one full charge to 100% using the standard charger, then disconnect. On the next charge session, fast charging resumes at full current once the IC accepts the cell.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it went from 45% to 12% in minutes, then back up without charging.

Erratic percentage jumps are a coulomb counter recalibration symptom — the fuel gauge IC is still mapping the new cell's discharge curve and hasn't locked onto a stable model yet. Do not interrupt the next charge session and do not top up in short bursts. Let the device discharge completely until it shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. One full unbroken cycle is usually enough to stabilise the counter.
