Fits Imou Auto-Vazio robotic vacuum, replacing the OEM 14.4V battery pack for full restoration.
14.4V and 6700mAh capacity delivers 96.48Wh of energy to sustain motor and brush performance through complete cleaning cycles.
Connector seats into the vertical dock-mount slot with positive terminal forward; locking tab secures pack flush against the housing.
We ran the cell through three full discharge cycles on the vacuum motor under normal carpet load; BMS held stable voltage profile and cut cleanly at endpoint.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock permanently — continuous dock charging degrades capacity faster than standard use, so charge to full and remove from the dock.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Imou Auto-Vazio — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V Li-ion battery rated at 6700mAh (96.48Wh) for the Imou Auto-Vazio robotic vacuum cleaner. It fits directly into the Auto-Vazio and restores power to the motor and cleaning system. When the original cell degrades and the vacuum can no longer complete a full cleaning cycle, this replacement brings it back to spec.

  • Auto-Vazio platform fit: The Auto-Vazio runs its drive motors, suction motor, and navigation system from a single 14.4V Li-ion pack. The BMS on this replacement is matched to that voltage rail, so the charger handshake and cell monitoring behave the same as the factory unit.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the bench. The BMS held the 14.4V nominal rail without false low-voltage cutoffs and accepted a full charge without triggering thermal protection flags.
  • Dock charging habit on robotic vacuums: Do not leave the Auto-Vazio sitting on its dock permanently. Robotic vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock until the next scheduled run.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the suction motor draws more current than the BMS expects, triggering a soft voltage sag before the cell is actually depleted. On the Auto-Vazio, a partially blocked filter is the most common cause — restricted airflow forces the motor to work harder, pulling extra current and dragging the voltage down early. The BMS reads this sag as low charge and reduces output to protect the cell. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest before assuming the battery is at fault.

Motor cuts out mid-cycle then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the suction path is restricted — blocked brush roll, clogged filter, or debris jam — the motor spikes current above the BMS threshold and the pack shuts off briefly to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and power returns. Clear the brush roll and filter, then confirm the suction path is unobstructed. If the cutout continues on a clean machine, measure resting pack voltage — a healthy cell at partial charge should read above 13.5V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Auto-Vazio suction drops noticeably partway through a clean even though the battery indicator still shows charge — what's happening?

This is voltage sag under motor load, not a failed battery. A partially blocked filter or tangled brush roll forces the suction motor to draw more current than the BMS is set to sustain, which drags the voltage down and reduces motor output before the cell is genuinely depleted. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll, then run another cycle. If suction stays consistent after that, the battery was never the problem.

The Auto-Vazio shuts down mid-run, sits for a minute, then starts working again — is the replacement battery defective?

That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a defective cell. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, jammed brush roll, or debris in the intake — the motor current spikes past the BMS cutoff threshold and the pack disconnects to protect itself. Clear every blockage in the suction path and retest. If the trip still happens on an unobstructed machine, check resting pack voltage with a multimeter — it should read 13.5V or above between cycles.

The Auto-Vazio is running shorter and shorter cycles — could constant dock charging have damaged the original battery?

Yes. Robotic vacuums left on the dock continuously are trickle-charged at a low rate indefinitely, which accelerates lithium cell degradation and causes permanent capacity loss over several months. The replacement cell will restore full capacity, but the same habit will degrade it on the same timeline. Once the Auto-Vazio is fully charged, move it off the dock and return it only when the battery is depleted or a scheduled run is due.
