Fits iRiver H110, H120, H140, H320 and one additional model; replaces OEM part DA2WB18D2.
3.7V 1500mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers 5.55Wh for sustained playback on portable audio devices.
Connector seats flush into the H110 battery slot with no locking tab; polarity marked on housing.
We bench-tested this cell in an H110 unit; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion without fault codes.
After installation, charge fully before first use — the H110 enters deep discharge protection after extended storage and needs a slow trickle cycle to accept normal charge current.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

iRiver H110 / H120 / H140 / H320 Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (DA2WB18D2)

This is a 3.7V 1500mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the iRiver H110, H120, H140, and H320 portable digital audio players. It replaces OEM part DA2WB18D2 and uses the same flat-cell format as the original. Capacity is 1500mAh — match that against your current cell before ordering.

  • H110 / H120 / H140 / H320 compatibility: These four models share the same internal battery bay dimensions and connector pinout. The BMS on each unit expects the same 3.7V nominal cell and cutoff thresholds, so one cell covers the full group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on an H120 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without error, charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity, and low-voltage cutoff fired before the cell dropped below safe discharge limits.
  • First charge after a cell swap: Media players in this series can enter deep discharge protection after sitting with a depleted cell. Connect the charger immediately after fitting the new battery and allow at least 30 minutes of trickle charge before attempting to power the unit on — skipping this step is the most common reason the device appears dead after installation.

Battery percentage jumping erratically after cell swap on the H-series

The H-series displays battery level by reading cell voltage against fixed thresholds stored in the firmware. After a cell swap, the new cell's voltage curve doesn't match the state the firmware last recorded. For the first several charge and discharge cycles, the indicator will jump — showing 80% then dropping to 40% within minutes. This is a recalibration issue, not a fault. Run three full charge-to-discharge cycles and the readout will stabilise.

Playback cutting out before the battery indicator shows empty

At the tail end of a discharge, cell voltage sags under the load of the audio amplifier circuit. The H-series amplifier draws enough current that voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the indicator reaches zero. This is more noticeable with aged cells but can appear with a new cell if the device has been stored in a partially discharged state. A full charge cycle before heavy playback use resolves it — target a full green indicator before starting a long session.

Frequently Asked Questions

My iRiver H110 won't turn on at all after I put the new battery in — did I get a dead cell?

Most likely not. The H-series enters a deep discharge protection state when the cell voltage drops too low, and a freshly installed cell won't always have enough charge to wake the device immediately. Connect the charger and leave it for at least 30 minutes before pressing power — the BMS needs a trickle charge to exit protection mode before the unit will boot.

The battery percentage on my H120 jumps all over the place after swapping the cell — is something wrong with the new battery?

Nothing is wrong. The firmware tracks battery level using voltage thresholds calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. A new cell doesn't match the last voltage reading the unit stored, so the indicator reads erratically until the device maps the new cell's behaviour. Run three complete charge-to-discharge cycles and the percentage display will settle into accurate readings.

My H320 cuts out mid-playback even though the battery indicator still shows charge remaining — what's causing it?

The audio amplifier in the H320 draws enough current at volume that cell voltage sags below the BMS cutoff point before the indicator reaches empty. This happens at the low end of a discharge cycle, typically under sustained high-volume playback. It is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity fault. Keep the cell above 30% indicated charge for long sessions, or run a full calibration cycle — three full charges and full discharges — to reset the firmware's cutoff reference point.
