Fits Jablocom GDP-04, GDP-04A, GDP-04D handsets; replaces OEM part numbers 2930277000 and CS603262 1S1P.
3.7V lithium-ion cell at 1300mAh restores full talk time to aging Jablocom cordless phones without capacity sag.
Connector slides into the battery door slot with flat orientation; locking tab seats flush against the handset frame.
We bench-tested this cell in a GDP-04 base charger; the BMS accepted the handshake on first insertion with no fault delay.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Li-ion cells in DECT phones need a slow activation cycle to establish accurate fuel-gauge calibration on the base station display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Jablocom GDP-04 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (2930277000)

This 3.7V, 1300mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Jablocom GDP-04, GDP-04A, and GDP-04D cordless DECT handsets. It matches the OEM voltage, connector, and physical footprint at 63.36 × 31.88 × 6.15mm. When the original cell degrades and the handset drops off mid-call or fails to hold a charge, this pack restores normal operation.

  • GDP-04, GDP-04A, GDP-04D compatibility: All three variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V charge rail. The BMS accepts the standard Li-ion charge profile the base station delivers — no modification needed across any of these models.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the GDP-04 platform. The BMS triggered protection correctly at low-voltage cutoff and the base station registered a full charge without error flags.
  • First-charge protocol for Li-ion cordless handsets: After installing this battery, seat the handset in the base and allow a full uninterrupted charge before first use. Li-ion cells shipped in partial-charge storage state need one complete charge cycle to let the BMS calibrate its capacity tracking accurately.

Talk time shorter than rated after replacing the GDP-04 battery

A freshly installed Li-ion pack can show reduced talk time for the first few cycles. This happens because the BMS ships with a conservative state-of-charge estimate after months of storage at partial capacity. Each full charge-to-discharge cycle lets the BMS recalibrate its internal fuel gauge against the real cell capacity. After three to five complete cycles, the handset's battery indicator and actual talk time should align with the rated 1300mAh output.

GDP-04 handset losing DECT pairing after battery replacement

Removing the battery completely cuts power to the handset's volatile memory, and some DECT phones drop their base station pairing when that happens. The GDP-04 stores pairing data in non-volatile memory, but if the handset shows "searching" or fails to register after the swap, a manual re-pair is needed. Press and hold the registration button on the base station until the indicator flashes, then initiate pairing from the handset menu. The process takes under two minutes and the handset will reconnect at full RF power once paired.

Frequently Asked Questions

The base station light on my GDP-04 stays red or shows no charge after I put in the new battery — what's wrong?

A Li-ion pack that has been sitting in storage can arrive at a voltage low enough that the base station's charge controller won't initiate a charge cycle. Seat the handset firmly and leave it for 15–20 minutes — most base stations will begin charging once the cell voltage climbs above the 3.0V acceptance threshold. If the light still doesn't change, remove the handset, wait 30 seconds, and reseat it to force the base station to re-poll the battery. Once charging starts, let it run to a full uninterrupted cycle before using the handset.

My GDP-04 handset drains completely overnight even though I left it in the base — is the battery faulty?

This is almost always a seating issue, not a faulty cell. If the handset isn't making firm contact with the base charging pins, the circuit doesn't close and the battery runs on standby draw all night. Remove the handset, check the charging contacts on both the handset and base for dust or oxidation, wipe them with a dry cloth, and reseat the handset until it clicks into position. A correctly seated handset should read at or above 4.1V on the battery terminals after an overnight charge.

The GDP-04 handset cuts out or drops calls when I move to the edge of its normal range — could the new battery be causing this?

Yes — a cell under load that sags below roughly 3.4V will cause the handset's RF transmit power to drop, which shrinks usable range. This is most common in the first few cycles when the BMS hasn't yet calibrated to the full capacity of the new pack. Run three complete charge-to-discharge cycles without interrupting the charge phase, and the voltage under RF load should stabilise. If drop-outs continue after five full cycles, check that the replacement battery terminals seat flush against the handset contacts.
