Fits Jabra Evolve2 65 and Evolve 2 wireless headsets, replacing OEM part number AHB300265.
This 3.7V, 380mAh lithium-polymer cell powers the headset's audio and DECT radio functions simultaneously.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation is marked on the housing.
We charged the cell in the base station and verified BMS handshake completed without fault indicators.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one full cycle before taking calls — DECT headsets require the base to log the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Jabra Evolve2 65 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AHB300265)

This 3.7V, 380mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the original AHB300265 pack in the Jabra Evolve2 65 and Evolve 2 wireless headsets. It restores audio and DECT radio function when the original cell has degraded or stopped holding a charge. Capacity is 380mAh (1.41Wh) — matched to the original specification.

  • Evolve2 65 and Evolve 2 fit: Both models use the same cell format, connector, and BMS handshake protocol. The 34.80 × 15.20 × 6.70mm footprint fits the headset housing without modification, and the BMS communicates directly with the base station charge circuit.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Evolve2 65. The BMS negotiated correctly with the base station, accepted a full charge without fault flags, and delivered stable voltage under combined audio and DECT radio draw.
  • First-cycle base station protocol: Place the headset in the base station and allow a complete charge cycle before making any calls. The Evolve2 65 base logs the new cell during that first cycle — until it does, talk-time estimates on the base display will be inaccurate.

Why the Evolve2 65 cuts out mid-call even with a new battery installed

The Evolve2 65 draws from the cell for both audio processing and the DECT radio simultaneously. Under that combined load, a cell sitting at storage voltage — not yet fully conditioned — can sag below the BMS cutoff threshold and trigger a shutdown. This is not a faulty cell. It happens because the pack has not completed its first full charge-discharge cycle in the base station. Run two or three full cycles through the base before extended use and the sag behaviour resolves.

Base station shows full charge but headset cuts off after a short time

When a replacement cell arrives at storage voltage (typically around 3.6–3.7V), the base station may report a full charge before the cell has actually reached capacity. The BMS handshake between the headset and base has not yet completed a calibration cycle, so the charge indicator is unreliable. Seat the headset in the base, leave it for a full uninterrupted charge cycle, then discharge fully through normal use. After two to three cycles the base display and actual cell capacity align.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Evolve2 65 keeps dropping out mid-call after I fitted the new battery — is the cell faulty?

Most likely not. The DECT radio and audio circuit draw simultaneously, and a cell that hasn't completed its first full charge cycle will sag under that combined load and hit the BMS cutoff. Seat the headset in the base station and run two full charge-discharge cycles before using it on calls. If dropout persists after three cycles, check that the cell voltage reads at least 3.7V off the charger.

The base station is showing a charging error after I replaced the battery — what's causing it?

The base needs to complete a BMS handshake with the new cell before it will charge normally. If you seated the headset immediately after installation without letting the circuit initialise, the base may throw a fault. Remove the headset, wait 10 seconds, reseat it firmly, and let the base run an uninterrupted charge cycle. The error clears once the handshake completes and the base recognises the new pack.

Talk time on my Evolve2 65 is noticeably short for the first few days after the swap — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. Lithium-polymer cells in small-format headsets like the Evolve2 65 need three to five full charge-discharge cycles to reach rated capacity. The cell delivers slightly less than its 380mAh rating on early cycles while the electrolyte fully wets the electrode structure. Use the headset normally through the base station each day and capacity will improve incrementally — by cycle five it should be at or close to rated output.
