Fits JBL E25BT and T110BT earbud units; replaces OEM part GSP051230.
This 3.7V, 140mAh Li-Polymer cell powers one earbud through full wireless listening cycles.
Connector slides onto the earbud contact pads with a single alignment notch for orientation.
We ran this cell through five charge cycles in the E25BT charging case; BMS accepted handshake on cycle two.
On first insertion, charge the earbud in the case for a complete cycle before pairing — the headset firmware needs to register the new cell's capacity signature.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

JBL E25BT / T110BT — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (GSP051230)

This is a 3.7V, 140mAh Li-Polymer cell that fits the JBL E25BT and T110BT wireless in-ear earbuds. It replaces the original GSP051230 cell inside a single earbud unit. Swap it in when the original cell has degraded and the earbud no longer holds a charge between uses.

  • E25BT and T110BT compatibility: Both models share the same internal cell footprint, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The GSP051230 cell fits either unit without modification to the BMS communication line.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on E25BT hardware. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, and the protection circuit engaged correctly at low-voltage cutoff.
  • First-cycle charge tip for E25BT: After fitting, run a complete charge cycle before using the earbud. The onboard fuel gauge in the E25BT resets its calibration point on the first full charge — skipping this step causes the battery indicator to read inaccurately from day one.

Why the E25BT cuts out mid-audio on a new battery

The E25BT combines Bluetooth radio draw and audio driver current in a very small housing. On a fresh cell sitting at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — the combined draw during peak audio output can trip the BMS undervoltage protection even though the cell is not depleted. This is not a faulty cell. Run two or three full charge-discharge cycles and the BMS will stop triggering at storage voltage levels.

Earbud shows full charge on the case but dies quickly after removal

This happens when a replacement cell arrives at shipping voltage and the charging case logs the charge state before the first full cycle completes. The case reads the surface charge — around 3.8–3.9V — and reports full. The actual usable capacity is lower until the cell has been cycled at least once from full charge to cutoff. Charge the earbud to 100% inside the case, use it until it powers off, then charge again. After that first complete cycle, the reported charge level will track actual capacity accurately.

Frequently Asked Questions

My JBL E25BT cuts out mid-song even though the battery indicator shows charge left — what's wrong?

This is a voltage sag issue. The Bluetooth radio and audio driver pull current simultaneously, and if the new cell hasn't been through a full cycle yet, the BMS can trip its undervoltage cutoff under peak draw even when the displayed charge looks healthy. It's not a faulty cell — it's an uncalibrated fuel gauge. Run two complete charge-to-cutoff cycles and the cutouts will stop.

The replacement cell is fitted correctly but my E25BT feels noticeably warm during longer listening sessions — is that normal?

Some warmth is expected. The E25BT housing is very compact, and sustained combined draw from the Bluetooth radio plus audio driver generates heat in a small space with limited airflow. If the earbud gets hot enough to be uncomfortable rather than just warm, check that the cell connector is fully seated — a partial connection increases resistance and raises heat output. A properly seated GSP051230 cell should stay warm, not hot, during normal use.

Talk time is noticeably shorter than expected for the first few uses after fitting — does the cell need conditioning?

Yes. Li-Polymer cells ship at a reduced storage voltage, and the first two to three charge-discharge cycles progressively unlock the cell's full capacity. The E25BT fuel gauge also recalibrates its capacity estimate across those early cycles. By cycle three to five, talk time will stabilise at the cell's rated capacity. Run those cycles with full charges down to automatic cutoff — don't top up mid-use during the break-in period.
