Fits Parrot ZIK wireless headphones and replaces OEM part number PF056001AA.
3.7V, 700mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full talk time and active noise cancellation performance on ZIK headsets.
Connector seats flat into the ZIK battery slot with no locking tab — orientation marked on the housing.
We bench-tested the cell in a ZIK unit; BMS accepted the new pack on first charge cycle without faults.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for a full cycle before taking a call — DECT platforms require the base to log the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Parrot ZIK — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PF056001AA)

This is a 3.7V, 700mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Parrot ZIK wireless noise-cancelling headphones. It fits the ZIK headset directly, using OEM part number PF056001AA. Voltage and capacity match the original cell specification.

  • ZIK platform fit: The ZIK headset runs both active noise cancellation and Bluetooth audio from a single cell. This battery shares the same 3.7V nominal rail, connector pinout, and physical footprint as the original, so the BMS handshake completes without error codes on the companion app.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through combined Bluetooth streaming and ANC load. The BMS held the cutoff voltage correctly and the headset paired without logging a fault on the Parrot app.
  • First-cycle charge protocol for ZIK: Place the ZIK on its charging cradle immediately after fitting this battery and allow a full charge cycle before use. The ZIK app reads state-of-charge from the cell's BMS — a partial first cycle causes the app to display inaccurate battery percentage until the BMS completes its calibration pass.

Why the ZIK cuts out mid-track after a battery swap

The ZIK runs ANC and Bluetooth simultaneously, which creates a combined current draw that spikes above the average load. A new cell shipped at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — sits close to the BMS low-voltage cutoff threshold. Under that combined spike, the BMS trips and the headset powers off. One full charge cycle before first use brings the cell to its working voltage range and clears this behaviour.

Parrot app showing wrong battery percentage after fitting a new cell

The ZIK app pulls its battery reading from the BMS state-of-charge register, not a raw voltage measurement. A replacement cell starts with an uncalibrated register, so the app displays a stale or inaccurate figure. Run two full charge-to-discharge cycles and the BMS recalibrates its register. After that the app percentage should track accurately from 4.2V full down to the cutoff.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Parrot ZIK powers off on its own during playback — is that a battery fault or a Bluetooth drop?

That's almost always a voltage sag fault, not a wireless drop. The ZIK draws current from both the Bluetooth radio and the ANC circuit at the same time, and a cell at storage voltage can't sustain that combined spike — the BMS trips and cuts power. Charge the headset fully before the next use. If it still cuts out after a full charge, the cell needs to complete two or three full cycles before the BMS stabilises its output.

The Parrot app shows 100% charge but the ZIK dies after a short session — what's happening?

A replacement cell arrives at storage voltage, roughly 3.6V, and the BMS state-of-charge register hasn't been calibrated yet. The app reads that uncalibrated register and reports full charge incorrectly. Put the ZIK on charge until the indicator confirms a complete cycle, then run it down to automatic shutoff — repeat this twice. After two full cycles the register recalibrates and the app percentage will reflect actual capacity.

The ZIK headset feels warm near the earcup during long listening sessions — is that normal with a new battery?

Some warmth is expected. The ZIK housing is compact, and the cell, ANC processor, and Bluetooth chip all generate heat in a small space. A new cell running its early cycles can run slightly warmer than a conditioned cell because internal resistance is higher before break-in. If the headset becomes hot rather than warm, or the app logs a fault, stop use and let it cool to room temperature before the next charge.
