Fits Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G, DuraForce Ultra 5G UW, and E7110 models; replaces OEM PCGF30 and SCP-74LBPS cells.
3.85V nominal, 4500mAh capacity delivers the rated charge window for this 5G-enabled rugged phone without voltage sag under full modem load.
Connector type matches original Kyocera contact layout; slides into the battery door slot with the locking tab engaging the same retention points as stock.
We cycled this cell through five full discharge-charge cycles on a DuraForce Ultra 5G; the BMS initialized correctly and voltage held stable across all loads.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G — 3.85V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PCGF30)

This is a 3.85V, 4500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G, DuraForce Ultra 5G UW, and E7110. It fits the original battery bay and uses the same connector and BMS handshake as the factory cell. Install it when the original battery no longer holds a usable charge or fails to power the device.

  • DuraForce Ultra 5G, UW, and E7110 fit: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, voltage rail, and PCGF30 connector pinout. The BMS on each device communicates the same handshake, so one cell covers the full model family without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the E7110. The BMS accepted the new cell on the first connection, held charge cutoff at 4.35V, and triggered low-voltage protection at the correct threshold without tripping early shutdown.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell — preventing false percentage readings from the first charge onward.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. When the new cell's voltage drops under 5G modem or screen load, it hits a cliff the gauge wasn't expecting — the phone reads 25% but the cell voltage has already fallen below the safe cutoff. The fix is one full discharge-charge cycle with the phone in normal use and fast charging disabled. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and the shutdowns stop.

USB-PD fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge after a cell swap, the charge IC may reject the USB-PD handshake and fall back to standard 5W charging. This is the BMS protecting an uncalibrated cell — it doesn't yet have a verified state-of-charge reading, so it limits input current until it does. Run one full standard charge cycle first. After that, plug into a USB-PD charger and the fast charge protocol will negotiate correctly at the rated current.

Frequently Asked Questions

My DuraForce Ultra 5G shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC in the E7110 is still calibrated to the discharge curve of the old cell, so it misreads voltage under 5G modem load and calls a false cutoff. Run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging off. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter resets to the new cell's curve and the early shutdowns stop.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it — what happened?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell the BMS has entered lockout to prevent damage. The phone won't respond to the power button and may not show a charging indicator at first. Connect it to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without touching it — the charge IC will trickle-charge the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold. Once the voltage climbs above 3.0V, the BMS unlocks and the phone will boot normally.

The battery percentage is jumping around — it shows 60%, then drops to 41%, then jumps back up — what's causing that?

The fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter that was trained on the original cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell has different impedance, so the IC is producing erratic state-of-charge estimates while it recalibrates. This is not a hardware fault. Disable fast charging and run two full discharge-charge cycles with the phone in normal daily use. After the second cycle, the percentage readings will stabilise.
