Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Laresar Grande 2 Sweeping Robot Vacuum Cleaner — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR-32E-4S1P)
This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Laresar Grande 2 Sweeping Robot Vacuum Cleaner. It matches the OEM part number INR-32E-4S1P and fits the Grande 2's battery bay directly. Voltage and capacity are both matched to the original specification.
- Grande 2 platform fit: The Grande 2 runs its drive motors and navigation board from the same 14.4V rail. This cell pack maintains that voltage through the full discharge curve, keeping both systems stable without a mid-cycle voltage drop that trips the navigation processor.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through full charge and discharge cycles on the Grande 2 platform. The BMS accepted the charge handshake without error, and the cell pack delivered consistent voltage across motor-start events at the beginning and end of each cycle.
- Dock charging habit for the Grande 2: The Grande 2 sits on its charging dock between cycles, which pushes continuous trickle current into the cells. Remove the vacuum from the dock once charging is complete. Cells held at full charge under constant trickle current lose usable capacity faster than cells that rest off the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the Grande 2
The Grande 2 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is obstructed. That extra draw pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator gauge anticipates, so the vacuum loses suction while the indicator still shows charge remaining. The BMS reads actual cell voltage, not the percentage shown on the display. Clean the filter and check the brush roll before concluding the battery is at fault — a clear airpath restores normal draw and normal voltage hold.
Motor cuts out mid-cycle then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a blockage — carpet pile compressed over the inlet, or a clogged filter forcing the motor to work harder — current draw spikes above the BMS cutoff threshold and the pack shuts the output. The BMS resets automatically after a short thermal delay, which is why the motor comes back without any user action. Clear the blockage, allow 10–15 seconds, then restart. If the trip repeats on clean floors with a clear filter, check that cell voltage at rest reads above 12.0V before recharging.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Grande 2 stops mid-clean and restarts on its own — is this the battery failing or something else?
That stop-and-restart pattern is the BMS cutting output on an overcurrent spike, not cell failure. It happens when the motor pulls more than rated current — usually a blocked filter or brush roll jammed with hair. Clear the filter and brush roll first. If the trip still happens on an open floor with clean components, rest the battery off the dock for 30 minutes and check that resting cell voltage is above 12.0V before your next cycle.
The Grande 2 used to cover the whole floor on one charge but now quits well before finishing — what causes that kind of fade?
Capacity fade in the Grande 2 is most often caused by leaving the vacuum on the charging dock continuously between cleans. The charger holds the cells at full voltage under a trickle current, and Li-ion cells degrade faster when stored at 100% charge than when allowed to rest partially discharged. With a replacement battery, charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock and store it off-charge. This alone extends usable capacity significantly compared to permanent dock parking.
The replacement battery is installed but the Grande 2 won't start charging on the dock — what should I check first?
The Grande 2 charger expects a BMS handshake before delivering current, so a new pack occasionally needs one manual power-on cycle to initialise communication. Press the power button to attempt a start — this wakes the BMS and opens the charge circuit. If the dock light still doesn't indicate charging after that, clean the charging contacts on both the dock and the underside of the vacuum with a dry cloth, then reseat the vacuum. Confirm dock output voltage is 16.8V before ruling out the dock itself.
