Fits Lenovo A360T smartphone and replaces OEM battery part number BL228.
3.8V at 2100mAh delivers sufficient capacity to restore full daily runtime on this device.
Connector slides vertically into the battery slot with a single locking tab at the base.
We bench-tested the BMS against the A360T fuel gauge IC; voltage regulation held steady under screen and modem load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo A360T — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BL228)

The BL228 is a 3.8V, 2100mAh Li-ion cell that fits the Lenovo A360T smartphone. It replaces a worn or degraded original battery that can no longer hold adequate charge under normal use. Capacity is rated at 7.98Wh, matching the original specification.

  • A360T fit note: The A360T uses a removable back cover with a direct-drop connector — no flex cable or adhesive retention. The BL228 seats into the battery bay and locks to the contact pins without tools. Voltage rail and connector pitch match the original exactly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BL228 through a full discharge-charge cycle on the A360T. The BMS accepted the charge handshake on the first cycle, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold during deep discharge simulation.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Why the A360T reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The A360T uses a coulomb counter that tracks charge relative to the previous cell's discharge curve. When a new cell goes in, the stored curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry. The phone reads a stale model and reports percentage that drifts from reality. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the calibration and brings the gauge back into alignment.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff — the cell voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load before the displayed percentage predicts it. The fuel gauge IC is still running an old curve and does not flag the real knee point of the new cell. The phone's protection circuit cuts power before the OS can react. Run one full discharge cycle without interruption and the gauge will map the actual cliff point, eliminating early shutdowns.

Frequently Asked Questions

My A360T won't turn on at all after the new BL228 sat in a drawer for a few weeks — is the battery dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below the BMS lockout threshold, which sits around 2.5V. At that level the protection circuit opens and blocks current flow entirely, so the phone shows nothing when you press the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage climbs above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which normal charging resumes.

Fast charging stopped working after I swapped in the BL228 — the phone charges, but slowly

On the first cycle after installation, some proprietary charge protocols are not accepted by the new BMS until it completes one full handshake sequence with the phone's charge IC. Charge the phone to 100% using the standard charger without interruption, then discharge it fully. After that first complete cycle, reconnect the original fast charger — the protocol negotiation should succeed and fast charge will activate normally.

The battery percentage on my A360T keeps jumping around — it showed 45%, then jumped to 62%, then back to 38%

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against the new cell discharge curve. The coulomb counter was trained on the old cell and has no accurate reference for the BL228's actual capacity. Erratic percentage readings are normal for the first one to two cycles. Let the phone discharge fully until it shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that cycle the gauge locks onto the new curve and percentage readings stabilise.
