Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed to prevent reverse insertion.
We bench tested the cell against a Yoga 710-15ISK motherboard; BMS charged to target voltage without throttle or fault code.
After installing, run one full discharge to hibernation then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo Yoga 710 15" — 7.64V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L15M4PC2)

This 7.64V, 5800mAh Li-Polymer battery is a direct cell replacement for the Lenovo Yoga 710 15-inch 2-in-1 convertible. It fits the Yoga 710-15ISK, 710-15ISK 80U0, and related 15-inch Yoga 710 variants. OEM part numbers L15M4PC2, L15L4PC2, 5B10K90778, and 5B10K90802 all cross to this cell.

  • Yoga 710 15" platform fit: The 710-15ISK and 80U0 variants share the same voltage rail and connector pinout. The BMS handshake is identical across this generation, so the same cell authenticates correctly in all covered models without firmware conflict.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and BMS communication checks on a Yoga 710 15" unit. The BMS accepted the cell, reported capacity correctly after calibration, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • BIOS learn cycle after installation: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on Yoga 710 hardware.

Why the Yoga 710 BIOS flags a new battery as poor health

The Yoga 710 stores battery health data in EEPROM on the original cell. When you swap cells, that EEPROM data is gone and the BIOS reads the blank state as degraded. This is not a fault with the replacement cell — it is a calibration gap. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate then a full uninterrupted charge gives the fuel gauge IC enough data to rewrite accurate health figures. After two to three cycles the BIOS health indicator will update to reflect the actual cell condition.

Laptop shuts down at 20–30% shown after battery swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still mapping the old cell's voltage curve to the new cell's chemistry. When the CPU and display draw full load simultaneously, the cell hits a voltage cliff the gauge did not anticipate, and the system cuts out before the displayed percentage reaches zero. The fix is the same calibration cycle — discharge fully to hibernate cutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption. After two full cycles the gauge recalibrates to the new cell and the early shutdown stops. Target a resting voltage of 8.60V at full charge to confirm the cell is holding correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Yoga 710 shows my new battery as 0% or "unknown" in Windows — is the cell dead?

No. The fuel gauge IC lost its reference data when the old cell was removed, so it has nothing to map the new cell against. Discharge the laptop fully until it hibernates, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The IC recalibrates against the new cell during that cycle and Windows will display an accurate percentage within two to three full cycles.

Windows Battery Report is showing the wrong Wh rating — it says 44Wh but the system info lists something different. Which is correct?

The Wh figure in system info is pulled from the EEPROM of the original cell, not measured from the new one. The actual rated capacity of this replacement is 44.31Wh at 7.64V. After you run a full calibration cycle — discharge to hibernate, charge to 100% — the reported figure in Windows Battery Report will update to reflect the installed cell's real output.

Charging stops at 80% and will not go higher after fitting the replacement cell — is there a fault?

This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge threshold, not a cell fault. Lenovo's firmware on Yoga 710 hardware includes a battery conservation mode that caps charging at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress. Open Lenovo Vantage, navigate to Power, and check whether Conservation Mode is switched on. Turn it off, then plug in and the charge will continue to 100%.
