Fits LeTV Max, MX1, X900 smartphones; replaces OEM battery part number LT633.
3.8V, 3300mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge capacity to aging Max units that no longer hold daily usage time.
Connector solders directly to the phone's battery interface; no mechanical locking tab — solder joint must be clean and flush before reassembly.
We tested the LT633 on a Max unit; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell after one full discharge-charge cycle without errors or cutoff anomalies.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LeTV Max / MX1 / X900 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LT633)

This 3.8V 3300mAh (12.54Wh) Li-Polymer cell replaces the original LT633 battery in the LeTV Max, MX1, and X900 smartphones. It fits the stock battery compartment and connects to the existing flex cable without modification. Replace this when the original cell no longer holds voltage under screen or modem load.

  • Max, MX1, and X900 compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — the LT633 part number covers the entire range without hardware changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the LT633 cell through charge and discharge cycles on the X900 platform. The BMS accepted charge current correctly, protection circuits tripped at expected voltage limits, and the fuel gauge IC picked up cell state within one full cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the LeTV Max after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve than the aged cell it replaces. The fuel gauge IC still holds calibration data from the old cell, so it reads 25% remaining when the actual cell voltage has already dropped to the BMS cutoff threshold. Under modem transmit or display load, the voltage sag tips the BMS into protection cutoff and the phone shuts down hard. One full discharge-charge cycle — down to auto-off, then a full charge — forces the coulomb counter to resync against the new curve. Shutdowns at false-low percentages stop after that cycle.

Phone shows 100% instantly after replacement and drains in a straight line to zero

This is the fuel gauge IC reporting stale data — it locked onto the old cell's full-charge voltage and is not reading the new cell accurately. The percentage jumps to 100% fast because the new cell charges to a slightly higher open-circuit voltage than the depleted original. Drain looks linear because the IC is interpolating rather than measuring. Discharge the phone fully until it powers off automatically, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that single calibration cycle, percentage tracking stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my LeTV Max shut off at 25% right after fitting the new LT633 battery?

The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. The new Li-Polymer cell hits BMS cutoff voltage before the percentage counter reaches zero, so the phone cuts out mid-use. Run one full cycle — drain to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single cycle the coulomb counter resyncs and the early shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working after I installed the replacement battery — the phone only trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC can reject the proprietary fast-charge handshake because the BMS presents a higher impedance than the calibrated original cell. The phone defaults to standard 5V charging as a fallback. Let the battery complete one full charge at standard rate, then reconnect the charger — the charge IC re-negotiates the protocol once it has a baseline impedance reading from the new cell.

The LeTV X900 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation.

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the LT633 cell dropped below 2.5V per cell the BMS has entered lockout mode to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC delivers a low-current pre-charge pulse that brings the cell voltage above the BMS recovery threshold (approximately 2.9V), at which point the BMS re-initialises and the phone will power on normally.
