Fits LG KM380, KT520, KF300, KF240 and 16 other models; replaces LGIP-330GP, SBPL0092902, SBPL0089001, SBPL0092904, SBPP0026203, SBPL0085606, SBPL0092901.
This 3.7V 650mAh lithium-ion cell delivers enough capacity for calls, texts, and standby on the KM380 platform.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab at the base.
We cycled the pack on a KM380 test unit; the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes on insertion.
After installation, run one full discharge-charge cycle without removing the battery to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate to the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG KM380 / KF300 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LGIP-330GP)

This is a 3.7V, 650mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original LGIP-330GP battery in the LG KM380, KT520, KF300, KF240, and compatible models. It fits the same physical slot and connector as the factory cell. Use it when the original battery no longer holds enough charge to keep the phone running through normal daily tasks.

  • KM380 / KF300 platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions (54.19 × 33.57 × 4.00mm), connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — that is why one cell covers the full range. Voltage rail is 3.7V nominal across all listed variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the KM380 platform. The BMS handshake completed on first connection, charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity, and the protection circuit responded to simulated over-discharge conditions as expected.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interrupting the cycle. The KM380 fuel gauge IC maps its coulomb counter to the new cell's discharge curve during this first full cycle — skip it and the percentage readout will drift.

Why the KM380 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the KM380 stores a learned discharge curve from the previous cell. When you install a new cell, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The IC continues using the old data, so reported percentage drifts away from real state of charge. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the coulomb counter to resynchronise against the new cell's actual curve.

Sudden shutdown at 20–25% on the KM380 after replacement

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — typically during a call or screen-on activity — faster than the fuel gauge IC predicts. The phone hits the low-voltage cutoff threshold before the displayed percentage reaches zero. It is not a faulty cell; it is the fuel gauge reading from a stale calibration profile. Complete one full discharge-charge cycle and confirm resting voltage reads 3.7V on a multimeter before reassembly if the symptom persists.

Frequently Asked Questions

My KM380 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out below the 2.5V per-cell threshold it uses for deep-discharge protection. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will unlock and allow normal charging to resume. If the charge indicator LED doesn't appear within 40 minutes, check that the battery contacts are seated flat against the PCB pads.

The KM380 percentage jumps around erratically — it shows 60%, then drops to 30% in minutes without much use.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an uncalibrated new cell — the coulomb counter is running off the old cell's discharge curve and losing sync under load. Run the phone down to automatic shutdown without charging mid-way, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100%. After that single full cycle the IC rewrites its reference curve and the percentage display stabilises.

The KM380 feels warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — should I stop charging?

Mild warmth on the first one or two charge cycles is normal. A new Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, and the charge IC pushes the same current into higher resistance, generating more heat than you'd see after a few cycles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the back panel distorts, disconnect immediately. Otherwise, finish the charge cycle — the impedance drops as the cell conditions and warmth will reduce by the second or third full charge.
