Fits Luvion Grand Elite 2 parent unit; OEM replacement for original 3.7V pack.
This 3.7V, 1150mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers the voltage and capacity required for full-day portable monitoring without the extended runtime claims of larger packs.
Connector is a two-pin JST-XH type with positive and negative leads; orientation marked on the battery housing and slot; no locking tab — slides and seats flush.
We tested the cell on the Luvion charging circuit; the BMS accepted charge at standard Li-polymer rates with no fault signals or early cutoff events across three full cycles.
After battery swap, re-pair the parent unit with the camera unit by holding the sync button on both devices for five seconds — wireless connection drops after complete power loss.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Luvion Grand Elite 2 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1150mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the internal cell in the Luvion Grand Elite 2 parent unit. It fits the handheld monitor that receives the video feed from the camera unit. No OEM part number is published for this cell — match by device model before ordering.

  • Grand Elite 2 parent unit fit: The Grand Elite 2 parent unit runs a single lithium-polymer cell at 3.7V. The cell dimensions — 48.76 × 30.22 × 7.20mm — match the original cavity. The connector and BMS handshake are preserved, so the parent unit reads charge state normally after swap.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a Li-Po tester. The BMS held low-voltage cutoff correctly and the cell reached full rated capacity within two standard charge cycles.
  • Re-pair after swap: The Grand Elite 2 parent unit drops its wireless link to the camera unit when it loses power completely during a battery swap. After fitting the new cell, hold the pairing button on both units until the connection tone confirms. Do not skip this step — the monitor will show a signal-lost screen otherwise.

Parent unit battery draining overnight on the Grand Elite 2

Running the Grand Elite 2 parent unit through the night with the screen active is a sustained draw that a worn cell cannot sustain. The screen backlight and radio receiver together pull continuous current, and a degraded 1150mAh cell drops below the BMS cutoff before morning. A fresh cell restores capacity, but enabling the screen timeout in the monitor settings reduces the overnight draw significantly. Set screen timeout to the shortest interval you find usable — the audio alert still fires even with the screen off.

Night vision stops working after fitting a new battery

The infrared LEDs in the camera unit are not affected by the parent unit battery, but the parent unit's IR display mode needs adequate voltage to render the night vision feed correctly. If the night vision image appears black or the mode fails to activate, the new cell likely has not reached full charge yet. Charge the parent unit fully before first use — measure at the USB port input until charging stops automatically. Once the cell is at 4.2V, night vision should activate without issue.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Grand Elite 2 parent unit shows no signal after I replaced the battery — did I fit it wrong?

The battery swap itself is not the cause. When the parent unit loses power completely during a battery replacement, it drops the wireless pairing with the camera unit. The battery fit is fine — you need to re-pair. Hold the pairing button on the camera unit first, then on the parent unit, until you hear the connection tone.

The Grand Elite 2 range feels much shorter after the battery swap — what's happening?

The radio transmitter in the parent unit is voltage-sensitive. A new cell that has not been fully charged yet cannot supply the voltage the radio needs for full power output, so range is reduced. Charge the parent unit completely before testing range — the cell should reach 4.2V. If range is still poor after a full charge, check that no large metal objects or walls have been moved between the units.

The Grand Elite 2 parent unit screen turns on but goes blank within seconds of the battery swap — is the cell faulty?

This is almost always a low-charge issue, not a faulty cell. A replacement Li-Po cell ships partially charged, and the BMS may cut power to the display under load if the cell voltage is too low. Connect the parent unit to the charger immediately after fitting the battery and allow a full charge cycle before powering it on. If the screen still blanks after a full charge, check that the battery connector is fully seated.
