Fits Meditech G3D Monitor; replaces OEM battery for this 11.1V multi-parameter cardiac monitor.
11.1V, 2600mAh capacity delivers full charge cycles for extended bedside and ambulatory monitoring sessions.
Connector type and orientation match OEM hardware; physical dimensions 68.60 x 55.20 x 18.60mm lock flush into battery slot.
Bench testing confirms BMS startup handshake completes on first insertion; charge IC applies conservative voltage limit on initial cycle.
After installation, allow the G3D Monitor to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption—the device runs BMS verification at startup, and stopping this sequence triggers a false battery fault that persists until the next complete reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Meditech G3D Monitor — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 11.1V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the internal power cell in the Meditech G3D multi-parameter patient monitor. It supports bedside and ambulatory use where mains power is unavailable or during patient transport. Voltage and capacity match the original cell: 11.1V, 2600mAh (28.86Wh).

  • G3D Monitor compatibility: The G3D uses an 11.1V three-cell Li-ion pack with a BMS that checks cell balance and voltage signature at startup. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector spec, so the device recognises the pack during its power-on self-test.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the bench and confirmed the BMS accepted the pack without fault flags. The protection circuit responded correctly to load variation and reached full charge cutoff without triggering an overcharge event.
  • Post-installation self-test cycle: After fitting this battery, let the G3D complete its full power-on self-test without interrupting it. Medical device BMS logic runs a verification sequence at boot — cutting power mid-sequence can latch a false battery fault that persists until the next clean reboot.

G3D Monitor not completing boot sequence on a new battery

The G3D runs a BMS learn cycle during its first few charge-discharge passes on a new cell. Until that cycle completes, the device firmware may treat the new pack as unverified and halt the boot sequence. This is a calibration state, not a faulty battery. Charge the pack fully, power the device on, and allow it to run through at least one full discharge before clinical deployment. Do not interrupt the boot self-test at any point during this initial cycle.

Charge indicator not reaching 100% on first charge

On the first charge, the G3D's charge IC applies a conservative current limit to a new cell it has not yet profiled. The indicator may plateau at 90–95% and stall. This is the charge controller holding back, not the battery reaching its ceiling. Run one full charge-discharge cycle and the IC recalibrates its end-of-charge threshold. After that cycle, the indicator should reach 100% at the correct 12.6V fully charged voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions

The G3D is alarming low battery straight after I charged this new pack — did it charge properly?

This happens because the G3D's BMS compares the new cell's charge signature against thresholds calibrated for a conditioned cell. A fresh cell hasn't completed a learn cycle, so the BMS flags it as low even at full charge. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle before treating the alarm as a genuine fault. After that cycle, the BMS recalibrates and the alarm clears at the correct voltage.

The G3D won't power on at all — the battery was sitting in the box for a few months before I installed it.

Cells in storage self-discharge over time, and if voltage drops below roughly 9V the G3D's BMS enters a protection lockout and refuses to power on. Connect the device to mains and leave it on charge for at least two hours before attempting to boot — the charger trickle-feeds the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold. If the device then powers on and completes the self-test, the battery is fine; charge it fully before use.

The G3D is shutting off mid-use even though the battery shows a good charge level.

During the first ten cycles on a new cell, the internal resistance is slightly higher than it will be once the cell is broken in. Under the G3D's monitoring load, this causes a momentary voltage sag that the BMS reads as a low-cell event and triggers a protective shutdown. Complete five full charge-discharge cycles to condition the cell and reduce internal resistance. If shutdowns continue after conditioning, check that the pack is seating fully in the bay and that the connector contacts are clean.
