Fits Meizu MX4 Pro with OEM part number BT41, N0004720, or US525972H4.
3.8V, 3350mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers the same energy density as the original pack.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot — no mechanical modifications needed for alignment.
We ran full discharge cycles on a test unit; the BMS accepted charge without early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MeiZu MX4 Pro — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BT41)

This is a 3.8V, 3350mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the MeiZu MX4 Pro smartphone. It fits models MX4 Pro, MX4SWDS0, and M462U. OEM part numbers BT41, N0004720, and US525972H4 all cross-reference to this cell.

  • MX4 Pro, MX4SWDS0, M462U compatibility: These three models share the same 3.8V power rail, physical connector, and BMS handshake protocol. The cell dimensions — 69.85 × 58.20 × 4.54 mm — match the original chassis cavity without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the MX4 Pro platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without triggering an over-voltage or under-voltage cutoff event.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge reset: After installing this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the MX4 Pro after a cell swap

The MX4 Pro's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell in its coulomb counter. When the new cell hits a voltage point that the IC maps to "empty," it triggers a shutdown — even though actual capacity remains. This is not a defective cell. One full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle forces the IC to re-learn the voltage-to-capacity curve of the new cell. After that cycle, reported percentage aligns with real state of charge.

MeiZu MX4 Pro not powering on after storage with a low or flat battery

Li-Polymer cells that drop below approximately 2.5V per cell trigger a BMS lockout to prevent catastrophic discharge damage. The phone will show no signs of life — no boot screen, no charge indicator. Connect to a wall adapter rated at 5V/1A or higher and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The BMS recovery circuit needs a trickle current to bring the cell voltage above the lockout threshold before the phone will respond. Once the charge LED activates, normal charging has resumed.

Frequently Asked Questions

My MeiZu MX4 Pro shows the wrong battery percentage after I fitted the new BT41 cell — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC on the MX4 Pro was calibrated to the discharge curve of your old, worn-out battery. When a new cell with a different internal resistance is installed, the coulomb counter reads the voltage incorrectly and reports a skewed percentage. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — this recalibrates the IC against the new cell. After that single cycle, percentage reporting stabilises.

Fast charging stopped working on my MX4 Pro right after I replaced the battery — what happened?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the MX4 Pro's charge IC sometimes rejects the proprietary fast-charge handshake because the BMS on the new cell has not yet completed its initialisation sequence. The phone falls back to standard 5V charging as a precaution. Complete one full slow charge to 100% using a standard 5V/1A adapter. After that cycle, reconnect your fast charger — the BMS handshake with the charge IC completes correctly and fast charging resumes at its normal rate.

The MeiZu MX4 Pro gets noticeably warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so more energy converts to heat during the initial charge cycles. This is most noticeable in the first two to three charges and reduces as the cell's impedance settles. If the warmth is concentrated at the battery area and fades by the third charge, no action is needed. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the warmth persists beyond three full cycles, check that the replacement cell is seated flat and the connector is fully engaged — a partially seated connector increases resistance and heat at the contact point.
