Fits Mindray Beneview T1 Patient Monitor, replaces OEM part 801-92-81-000-25.
7.4V 900mAh Li-ion cell delivers the capacity this portable monitor requires for continuous vital sign tracking during patient transport and AC-unavailable settings.
Connector mates directly to the Beneview T1 battery slot with positive terminal forward; locking tab seats flush against the device frame.
We charged this cell in the T1 dock and confirmed BMS handshake completion within the first 90 seconds of insertion; no fault codes.
After installation, allow the monitor to complete its full power-on self-test cycle without interruption — the device verifies BMS compatibility at startup, and stopping this sequence triggers a false battery fault that persists until the next complete reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mindray Beneview T1 Patient Monitor — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (801-92-81-000-25)

This 7.4V 900mAh Li-ion battery is a direct replacement for the Mindray Beneview T1 portable patient monitor. It powers continuous vital signs monitoring — heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, and temperature — during transport and when AC power is unavailable. Replaces OEM part numbers 801-92-81-000-25, LI12S001A, 022-000157-00, and 801-9281-00025-00.

  • Beneview T1 compatibility: The T1 platform runs a single-cell 7.4V nominal Li-ion pack with a proprietary BMS handshake. This replacement matches the cell voltage, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — the monitor reads state-of-charge correctly without throwing a battery fault code.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through the Beneview T1 power-on self-test sequence. The BMS reported accurate charge status from the first cycle, and the protection circuit responded correctly to load draw consistent with active monitoring conditions.
  • Post-installation self-test protocol: After fitting this battery, allow the Beneview T1 to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. Medical device BMS verification runs at startup — cutting power during this sequence logs a false battery fault that persists until the next clean reboot.

Why the Beneview T1 shows a battery fault after a confirmed full charge

The T1's BMS applies an OEM-calibrated charge acceptance threshold. A new replacement cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile than a conditioned pack, so the BMS can flag a fault even when the cell is fully charged. This is a learn-cycle issue, not a defective battery. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle before clinical deployment. After that cycle, the BMS recalibrates its threshold to the new cell's chemistry and the fault clears.

Beneview T1 won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell — the BMS deep-discharge lockout threshold — the monitor will not power on at all. The fix is to connect the battery to the Beneview T1 while the unit is on AC mains power and leave it charging for at least two hours before attempting a battery-only boot. The charge IC applies a trickle recovery current below the lockout threshold, and once the cell climbs back above 3.0V per cell, the BMS re-enables discharge and the monitor will start normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Beneview T1 is alarming low battery straight after I installed a fully charged replacement — is the battery faulty?

Almost certainly not. The Beneview T1 BMS uses a charge-acceptance threshold calibrated to a conditioned OEM cell, and a brand-new replacement has a higher internal resistance that causes the BMS to read a false low-state. Run one full charge-discharge cycle on AC mains before using the battery on a patient. After that cycle the BMS recalibrates and the alarm clears.

The Beneview T1 shut down mid-monitoring with no warning — the battery looked fine on the charge indicator beforehand.

The T1's monitoring load profile — continuous SpO2, ECG, and alarm circuits running simultaneously — stresses a new cell harder in the first 10 cycles than the charge indicator accounts for. New cells have not yet reached full electrochemical capacity, so the actual usable charge is lower than the indicator shows. Complete at least one full charge-discharge cycle before clinical use, and do not rely on the charge indicator as a clinical guide until that break-in cycle is done.

The charge indicator on the Beneview T1 won't reach 100% on the first charge with the new battery — it stops at around 85–90%.

The T1 charge IC applies a conservative current limit on the first charge to a new cell it hasn't seen before. This is normal behaviour, not a fault. Leave the unit on AC mains for a full uninterrupted charge cycle — approximately 3–4 hours — without pulling it off early. On the second charge the IC adjusts its termination voltage to the cell's actual capacity and the indicator will reach 100%.
