Fits Mobistel Cynus F3 and MT-7511 series phones; replaces OEM part BTY26181.
3.7V and 1600mAh capacity delivers full daily usage cycles on this smartphone platform.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a small locking tab on the left edge.
We bench-tested this cell in the MT-7511W and confirmed the BMS accepted a full charge cycle without early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mobistel Cynus F3 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BTY26181)

This is a 3.7V, 1600mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Mobistel Cynus F3 smartphone, also sold as the MT-7511, MT-7511W, and MT-7511S. It slots directly into the original battery bay and connects to the same BMS-side contacts. Capacity is 1600mAh (5.92Wh), matching the OEM spec.

  • Cynus F3 / MT-7511 series fit: The MT-7511, MT-7511W, and MT-7511S all share the same 3.7V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake — one cell covers the full model range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Cynus F3 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, thermal cutoff triggered correctly under load, and protection circuitry held within spec throughout.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging if your device supports it, then run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. This allows the fuel gauge IC to map the new cell's discharge curve before higher charge currents are applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Cynus F3 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point the IC maps to 20–30%, it may actually be near the cell's actual low-voltage cutoff under modem or screen load. The phone shuts down because real cell voltage drops below 3.2V under that load even though the percentage display hasn't caught up. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and resolves this.

Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage dropped below 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent unsafe charging of a deeply discharged cell. The phone will show no response — not even a charge indicator — when you first plug it in. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not USB from a PC) and leave it for 15–20 minutes; the charge IC will trickle-charge the cell back above 2.8V, at which point the BMS releases lockout and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Cynus F3 shows the wrong battery percentage after fitting the new cell — is the battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the Cynus F3 stores the discharge curve of the old cell, and it takes time to remap to the new one. Percentage readings will drift or appear incorrect until the coulomb counter recalibrates. Run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that cycle the percentage display will track correctly.

The Cynus F3 feels warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal impedance on the first few cycles, which causes the charge IC to work harder and generate more heat than usual. This is normal and settles after two or three full charge cycles as the cell conditions. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charge stops early, remove it from the charger and let it cool to room temperature before continuing.

After fitting the replacement, my Cynus F3 drops from around 25% to zero with no warning — what's causing it?

This is a voltage cliff. Under peak load — screen on full brightness, modem active, GPS running — the cell voltage sags below the shutdown threshold faster than the fuel gauge IC can update the percentage display. The fix is the same as a full gauge recalibration: discharge the phone completely to auto-shutdown once, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the IC maps the new cell's real voltage curve and the cliff disappears.
