Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Pioneer PAP4322 Duo / E60W — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 3.7V 1650mAh Li-ion cell for the Pioneer PAP4322 Duo and E60W smartphones. It replaces the original battery when capacity has dropped to the point where the phone can no longer hold a usable charge across a normal day. Physical dimensions are 51.36 × 50.89 × 5.03mm — verify these against your existing cell before fitting.
- PAP4322 Duo and E60W fit: Both phones share the same battery bay dimensions, voltage rail, and connector pinout, so a single cell covers both models. The BMS communicates over the same two-wire interface on each device.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench and confirmed the BMS handshake completes correctly. Charge acceptance was normal from the first cycle, with no overcurrent trips or protection circuit lockouts observed.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging is introduced.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the PAP4322 Duo after a cell swap
This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. Under peak load — active modem, screen at full brightness, background sync — the new cell's internal resistance causes voltage to sag below the BMS cutoff threshold before the fuel gauge reads empty. The phone interprets this as a hard undervoltage event and shuts down even though the reported percentage still looks healthy. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate recalibrates the coulomb counter and the shutdowns typically stop.
Phone shows wrong battery percentage after fitting the replacement cell
The fuel gauge IC on the PAP4322 Duo stores a discharge curve learned from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC is still referencing the old curve, so percentage readings are inaccurate — often reading high early and then dropping sharply. The fix is one complete discharge to automatic power-off followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that single cycle the coulomb counter resets its reference and percentage tracking stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Pioneer PAP4322 Duo keeps shutting off around 25% — is the new battery faulty?
It is not faulty. A fresh cell has higher internal resistance than a broken-in one, and under peak modem or screen load the voltage sags below the BMS cutoff before the gauge reads zero. Run one full discharge to automatic power-off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard (non-fast) charge rate. After that cycle the shutdowns should stop — if they persist past three full cycles, check that the connector is seated flush.
The battery percentage on my PAP4322 Duo is jumping around erratically after the swap — what is happening?
The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from your old cell. The coulomb counter does not auto-reset when a new cell is installed, so percentage readings drift and jump until the IC recalibrates. Discharge the phone completely until it shuts itself off, then charge to 100% without interruption at standard rate. That single full cycle gives the IC a clean reference point and erratic readings settle out.
My Pioneer E60W will not power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what do I do?
A cell stored below approximately 2.5V triggers a BMS lockout to prevent damage — the protection circuit opens and the phone cannot draw current to boot. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. Most BMS circuits on this voltage class accept a trickle from the charge IC even in lockout, recover to around 3.0V, and then allow a normal boot. If the screen shows nothing after 45 minutes on charge, try a second charger to rule out an output voltage issue on the adapter.
