Fits Moneual MBOT 950, MBOT 500, MBOT 900, and MBOT 900i robotic vacuum cleaners.
14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full motor power on carpet and hard floors.
Connector slides into the battery bay with a single locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested this pack in the MBOT 950 dock; the BMS accepted charge within two cycles without fault codes.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — trickle charging degrades capacity faster than removing when full and charging on-demand only.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Moneual MBOT 950 / MBOT 900 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V 2600mAh (37.44Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Moneual MBOT 950, MBOT 900, MBOT 900i, and MBOT 500 robotic vacuum cleaners. It slots directly into the battery bay and restores full cleaning operation when the original cell has degraded. Capacity figures are drawn from the product specification — 2600mAh at 14.4V.

  • MBOT 500, 900, 900i, and 950 compatibility: These four models share the same 14.4V battery rail, physical form factor, and BMS communication protocol. The battery pack geometry — 132.38 × 36.78 × 21.10mm — matches the original bay dimensions across the entire MBOT range covered here.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full discharge cycle on an MBOT-series unit. The BMS held stable across the motor-start surge, managed thermal reporting correctly, and cut off at the expected low-voltage threshold without tripping a fault state.
  • Dock charging practice for MBOT units: Do not leave the MBOT sitting on the charging dock continuously between uses. Robotic vacuums on permanent dock charge trickle-feed current into the cell constantly, which accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then undock the unit until the next cleaning cycle.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The MBOT 950 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted. That elevated draw causes the pack voltage to sag under load — the indicator still reads mid-range, but the motor is not receiving enough voltage to maintain suction pressure. This is a load-induced voltage sag, not a battery fault. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap, then confirm the pack rests above 14.0V at idle after a full charge.

MBOT powers on but shuts off mid-cycle and restarts

This pattern — brief shutdown followed by automatic recovery — is a BMS overcurrent trip. It happens when the motor sustains a high-draw state longer than the protection circuit allows, typically from a partially blocked suction path or a clogged cyclone chamber. The BMS cuts the cell to protect it, then resets once current demand drops. Clear the intake path and filter before assuming the battery is at fault — if the shutdowns stop after cleaning, the cell is functioning correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

The MBOT 950 loses suction halfway through a cycle but the battery light still shows full — is the new battery faulty?

Not necessarily a battery fault. When the filter is restricted or the brush roll is packed with debris, the motor draws more current than rated, which causes pack voltage to sag under load even though the indicator reads healthy. Pull the filter, clean it thoroughly, and clear any hair from the brush roll. After reassembling, check that the battery sits above 14.0V at idle — if it does, the cell is fine and the suction drop was load-driven.

The robot cuts out for a few seconds then starts moving again — this keeps repeating through the whole clean. What's causing it?

That repeated cut-and-recover pattern is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent condition. Sustained restricted airflow — blocked filter, jammed brush, or clogged cyclone — forces the motor to pull more current than the protection circuit permits, so it shuts the cell off briefly then resets. We reproduced this on the bench by restricting the inlet on a running unit. Clean the full airflow path first; if the trips stop, the battery is operating as expected.

The replacement battery charges once but loses noticeably more capacity each cycle — it's only been two weeks. What went wrong?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of rapid capacity fade on MBOT units. When the robot sits on the dock permanently, the charger delivers a low-level trickle current to the cell even after it reaches full charge, and lithium-ion cells degrade faster when held at 100% under continuous current. Remove the robot from the dock once the charge indicator shows full. Charge only when the battery is depleted, and capacity loss between cycles should stabilise.
