Sale priceFrom $22.99 USD Regular price $28.99
Shipping calculated at checkout.
Fits MyPhone 1080, 9010, 9015TV, and Halo X models using OEM part number MP-S-V or BS-04.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 1300mAh delivers 4.81Wh — enough capacity for a full daily cycle on moderate use.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab securing the pack flush against the housing.
Bench testing showed the BMS fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell without initialization faults across three charge-discharge cycles.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without enabling fast charging — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve before USB-PD current applies to an uncalibrated pack.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MyPhone 1080 / Halo X — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (MP-S-V)

This 3.7V 1300mAh Li-ion cell replaces part number MP-S-V (also listed as BS-04) in the MyPhone 1080, 9010, 9015TV, and Halo X smartphones. It restores normal power function when the original cell has degraded past the point of holding a usable charge. Voltage and capacity match the OEM specification exactly at 3.7V and 4.81Wh.

  • Cross-model fit — 1080, 9010, 9015TV, Halo X: These four MyPhone models share the same battery bay dimensions (66.00 × 43.90 × 4.60mm), connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail, which is why a single cell covers all four. The BMS handshake is consistent across this platform revision.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and charge sequences on the Halo X. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC reached cutoff at the correct terminal voltage without thermal events.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the MyPhone 1080 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point the IC associates with near-empty on the old cell, the phone cuts power to protect the SoC — even though real capacity remains. The fix is a full calibration cycle: drain the phone until it shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. After one complete cycle the coulomb counter resets against the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises.

Phone will not power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks charge input to prevent damage to an over-discharged cell. Plugging in a charger will appear to do nothing. Connect the phone to a wall adapter — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point the BMS releases the lockout and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My MyPhone Halo X shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC learned the old cell's voltage-versus-capacity curve, and when the new cell hits a voltage point the IC mapped as near-empty on the worn cell, it trips a shutdown. Run one full uninterrupted discharge until the phone powers itself off, then charge straight to 100% without interruption. After that single calibration cycle the coulomb counter resets against the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my MyPhone 9015TV jumps around erratically after I fitted the replacement — sometimes gaining 10% when I unplug the charger.

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a sign of a bad cell. The IC is interpolating capacity from a discharge curve it has not yet measured against this cell. We saw the same behaviour on the bench during the first cycle before calibration settled. Do one complete discharge-to-zero followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100%, and the IC will anchor its curve to the new cell — percentage readings stabilise after that cycle.

My MyPhone 1080 gets noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges after fitting the replacement — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth on the first one or two charge cycles is normal with a new high-impedance cell. The charge IC applies slightly higher voltage to push current into a cell whose internal resistance has not yet been conditioned by cycling. We measured surface temperature during bench testing and it stayed within safe limits. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the back panel distorts, stop charging immediately — but gentle warmth that fades as the cycle completes is expected and resolves after two or three cycles.
