Fits MyPhone A919i Dual smartphone; replaces original 3.7V lithium-ion cell.
3.7V, 1700mAh capacity supplies steady power through calls, messaging, and app use.
Connector seats flat against the stock slot; no locking tab present on this model.
We ran full discharge cycles on a lab unit; BMS accepted charge without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MyPhone A919i Dual — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1700mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the MyPhone A919i Dual smartphone. It fits directly into the A919i Dual battery compartment and restores power to a phone that no longer holds a charge. Capacity is 6.29Wh.

  • A919i Dual compatibility: The A919i Dual runs a dual-SIM radio stack, which draws simultaneous current from two baseband modules. This cell matches the voltage rail and physical footprint the phone's charge IC expects — wrong cell impedance here causes erratic shutdowns under dual-SIM load.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a smartphone test rig. The BMS accepted charge current without tripping, held voltage above 3.5V through mid-discharge, and reported state-of-charge to the fuel gauge IC without error flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before the charge IC applies high-current charging to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the A919i Dual after a cell swap

The A919i Dual's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve from the old cell after a swap. When the new cell hits its voltage cliff — typically around 3.55–3.6V under dual-SIM or screen load — the phone cuts out even though the gauge still shows 20–30% remaining. This is a calibration mismatch, not a faulty battery. One full discharge cycle from 100% to auto-shutdown, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's curve.

Phone not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage, and if the cell drops below 2.5V the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage — the phone will show nothing when you press the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC needs enough current to push the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, which is typically 2.9–3.0V. Once the phone shows a charging indicator, the BMS has reset and normal charging can resume.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my MyPhone A919i Dual percentage jump around erratically after fitting the new battery?

The fuel gauge IC on the A919i Dual stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. After a swap, the coulomb counter is mismatched to the new cell's chemistry, so percentage readings skip or jump as the IC tries to reconcile measured voltage with its stored model. Run one full uninterrupted discharge — screen on, dual SIMs active — down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single cycle the gauge IC recalibrates and readings stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working on my A919i Dual the first time I plugged in the replacement battery — is something wrong?

On the first charge cycle, the phone's charge IC defaults to trickle or standard charge rate when it detects an uncalibrated BMS — this is normal protective behaviour, not a fault. Let the first cycle complete fully on standard charge before expecting the higher charge rate to engage. We saw the same behaviour on the bench: fast charge protocol was accepted normally from the second cycle onward. If fast charge still does not engage after two full cycles, check that the cable and adapter both support the A919i Dual's charge rate.

My A919i Dual feels warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — should I be concerned?

A new high-impedance cell generates more heat than a broken-in cell during the first few charge cycles, because the charge IC is pushing current into a cell with slightly higher internal resistance than the worn original. This typically settles after two or three full cycles as internal resistance drops. The warmth should stay mild — not hot to the touch. If the back of the phone becomes uncomfortable to hold or charging stops and restarts repeatedly, remove the charger and let the phone cool to room temperature before resuming.
