Sustained IR LED draw during night vision is the most common cause. The doorbell switches to infrared illumination at dusk and holds that load continuously until dawn — this is a much heavier sustained drain than daytime motion-triggered recording. A degraded original cell often can't sustain that overnight draw and hits the BMS low-voltage cutoff before morning. Replace the cell and confirm the battery percentage in the app reads correctly after one full charge cycle — if it still drops to zero overnight, check that night vision mode isn't set to maximum sensitivity, which extends IR LED on-time.
