Fits Nexian NX-AC-001 and AC-001 smartphones, replacing the OEM 3.7V lithium-ion cell.
3.7V, 1200mAh capacity delivers standard talk and standby time on Nexian devices without fast-charge limitations.
Connector slots directly onto the OEM contact pins with no adapter or modification required.
We bench-tested the BMS on discharge cycles at 500mA and 1A loads — fuel gauge tracked linearly through the curve with no early cutoff.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve before high current pushes into an uncalibrated pack.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nexian NX-AC-001 / AC-001 — 3.7V Li-ion 1200mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell for the Nexian NX-AC-001 smartphone. It replaces the original battery when the cell can no longer hold a usable charge or causes unexpected shutdowns. The cell measures 60.00 × 43.80 × 4.50mm and fits the NX-AC-001 and AC-001 variants.

  • NX-AC-001 and AC-001 compatibility: Both model designations reference the same handset platform — identical voltage rail, connector pitch, and PCB footprint. One cell fits both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled the cell through full charge and discharge on the NX-AC-001 platform. The BMS accepted the replacement cell without fault flags, and the charge IC reached termination voltage cleanly.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before committing coulomb counter data — skipping this step is the main cause of erratic percentage readings post-swap.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the NX-AC-001 after a cell swap

A new cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. When the phone's modem or display pulls a current spike, the new cell's terminal voltage can dip below the hardware cutoff threshold — even though the OS is still reporting 20–30% remaining. The phone shuts down not because the cell is empty, but because the fuel gauge IC is reading from the wrong curve. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging recalibrates the coulomb counter and eliminates the early cutoff in most cases.

Phone won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the replacement cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks current flow to protect the cell from further damage. The phone will show no response — no charging indicator, no boot. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button; the charge IC needs to trickle-charge the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold of around 2.7V before normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

The battery percentage on my NX-AC-001 keeps jumping around after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the NX-AC-001 is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell — the new cell has a different voltage profile, so the percentage reading becomes unreliable. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging disabled. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and the readings stabilise.

My NX-AC-001 feels warm near the battery during the first few charges on the replacement cell — is that normal?

A fresh high-impedance cell generates slightly more heat than a worn, low-resistance cell during the constant-current charging phase. On a new cell, the charge IC is pushing current into a cell that hasn't yet settled to its operating impedance, which produces a mild temperature rise. This typically reduces after the first two or three full cycles as the cell's internal resistance drops. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — remove it from the charger and check that the charge port and cable are undamaged before continuing.

Fast charging stopped working on my NX-AC-001 right after I replaced the battery — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge protocol handshake can fail because the BMS on the new cell hasn't yet confirmed a valid charge state to the charge IC. The phone defaults to standard 5V charging as a safety fallback. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then unplug and restart the phone. Reconnect the charger — the fast-charge handshake should complete normally once the BMS has logged a completed charge cycle.
