Fits O2 XDA Nova smartphone; replaces OEM battery part numbers ELF0160, 35H00095-00M, and FFEA175B009951.
3.7V, 1100mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 4.07Wh to sustain the processor, modem, and display without early cutoff.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation marked on the housing.
We bench-tested this cell in the XDA Nova housing; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes on first insertion.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

O2 XDA Nova — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (ELF0160)

This is a 3.7V, 1100mAh Li-ion cell built to replace the original battery in the O2 XDA Nova smartphone. It fits the XDA Nova directly, matching the OEM connector and physical footprint. Voltage and capacity match the original spec — 3.7V nominal, 4.07Wh total energy.

  • XDA Nova platform fit: The XDA Nova runs a single-cell Li-ion configuration with a low-profile connector and compact cell envelope. This battery matches that form factor at 51.53 × 37.36 × 5.35mm, so the connector seats flush and the back cover closes without pressure on the cell.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the XDA Nova platform and monitored BMS cutoff behaviour. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold and accepted charge from the device's onboard charge IC without errors.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge down to automatic power-off, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. This gives the XDA Nova's fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve against the new cell — without it, percentage readings will be inaccurate for the first several cycles.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the XDA Nova after a cell swap

The XDA Nova's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When a new cell is installed, the IC thinks the battery is at 25% when the cell voltage is actually still healthy — but it hasn't mapped the new cell's lower internal resistance. Under modem or display load, the voltage rail dips briefly, the IC interprets that as a cutoff condition, and the phone shuts down. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge resets the coulomb counter and maps the new curve correctly.

O2 XDA Nova not powering on after sitting in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the XDA Nova sat unused for several months, the cell voltage may have dropped below 2.5V — the threshold where the BMS locks out to prevent damage. The phone will show no response to the power button or charging cable. Connect to a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power on; the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage recovers above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, after which normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my O2 XDA Nova show the wrong battery percentage after fitting a new cell?

The fuel gauge IC on the XDA Nova calibrates its percentage readings against the discharge curve of the cell it last learned. A new cell has different impedance and capacity characteristics, so the IC maps percentage incorrectly until it re-learns. Run one complete discharge — let the phone shut itself off — then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single full cycle, the coulomb counter resets against the new cell's actual curve and percentage accuracy improves significantly.

The O2 XDA Nova feels warm near the battery during the first charge after replacement — is that normal?

A new cell has higher internal impedance than a well-cycled cell. The onboard charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, which generates slightly more heat than you'd see on a broken-in cell. This is normal for the first one to three charge cycles and reduces as the cell conditions. If the device becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — remove it from the charger and check that the replacement cell dimensions match the 51.53 × 37.36 × 5.35mm spec, as a thicker cell can press against internal components.

My O2 XDA Nova won't respond at all after the new battery was left uncharged for a few weeks before install — what do I do?

Replacement cells can arrive partially discharged, and a few weeks on a shelf without installation can push the cell below the BMS lockout voltage of around 2.5V. The phone will show no charging indicator and the power button does nothing. Plug into a charger and leave it completely alone for at least 20 minutes — the charge IC applies a trickle current to bring the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold near 2.9V. Once the charging indicator appears, let it charge fully before powering on.
