Fits Olympia Chic and Chic 2 models, replaces OEM battery CS-HFC250SL.
This 3.7V lithium-ion cell delivers 1050mAh capacity for standard smartphone runtime across calls, messaging, and app use.
Connector type confirmed as original fit — slides into the battery slot with standard orientation and positive terminal alignment.
We bench-tested the cell against the OEM unit; the BMS accepted charge cycles without fault codes and held voltage under typical screen load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging runs.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Olympia Chic Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1050mAh Li-ion cell for the Olympia Chic smartphone lineup, covering the Chic, CHIC2122ROT, Caro Rot, and Chic 2 among others. It replaces the original power cell when the factory battery can no longer hold a usable charge. Voltage and form factor match the original spec: 53.00 × 33.90 × 5.60mm.

  • Chic series cell fitment: These models share a common battery bay size and voltage rail at 3.7V nominal. The connector pinout and physical footprint are consistent across the listed variants, so one cell covers the range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a representative unit. The BMS accepted charge correctly, hit full cutoff voltage cleanly, and showed no error flags during the test cycle.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge reset: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve for the new cell before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. Under load from the modem radio or screen, the cell voltage drops sharply before the fuel gauge IC expects it to. The OS reads 25% but the cell is already sagging below the minimum operating threshold. One full discharge-to-shutdown and uninterrupted recharge cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and eliminates most of these premature cutoffs.

Phone shows inflated or jumping battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a charge curve mapped to the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored model no longer matches actual cell behaviour, so the percentage reading drifts or jumps. The fix is a full calibration cycle: discharge fully until the phone shuts itself off, then charge in one unbroken session to 100% without interruption. After that cycle the IC rewrites its reference model and percentage readings stabilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Olympia Chic won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for months — is the battery dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V during storage and the BMS has locked out to prevent damage. Plug it into a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for at least 30 minutes before pressing the power button. A wall charger delivers enough current to nudge the cell above the BMS recovery threshold. If the screen shows any charging indicator after that wait, the battery is recovering.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I tried it after fitting this replacement battery — what happened?

The USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake between the phone and the charge IC sometimes fails on the first cycle with a new cell because the BMS flags the cell as uncalibrated. Run one full standard-charge cycle to 100% first, then reconnect the fast charger. That single cycle is usually enough for the charge IC to accept the elevated current rate from the fast-charge protocol.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges — is that normal?

Yes, and it is specific to new high-impedance cells. A fresh Li-ion cell has higher internal resistance than a cell that has been cycled, so the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat during early cycles. The warmth should reduce noticeably after three to five full charge cycles as internal resistance drops. If the back of the phone stays hot to the touch beyond the fifth cycle, stop charging and check that the battery connector is seated flush.
