Replaces BLP907 battery in Oppo Reno7 Z 5G smartphones and CPH2343 variants.
Delivers 3.87V at 4400mAh capacity, restoring full power to the Reno7 Z 5G after chemical degradation or capacity loss from age.
Connects via proprietary Oppo contact slot with orientation tab; seats flush against the device frame without modification.
We bench-tested this cell across five discharge cycles; the BMS accepted the pack on first insertion and voltage held steady under 5G modem load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Reno7 Z 5G — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP907)

This is a 4400mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Oppo Reno7 Z 5G (CPH2343). It runs at 3.87V and delivers 17.03Wh — matching the original BLP907 cell specification. Swap it in when the original cell has lost capacity or no longer holds a charge through a full day.

  • Reno7 Z 5G / CPH2343 fitment: Both model references share the same PCB layout, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol, so this single BLP907-spec cell covers the full variant range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the CPH2343 board. The BMS accepted the cell, protection circuits triggered correctly at voltage floor, and the charge IC stepped through trickle, CC, and CV phases as expected.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean discharge curve to map against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Reno7 Z 5G

The Reno7 Z 5G runs a 5G modem and high-refresh display simultaneously — both draw hard current spikes. If the cell cannot sustain voltage under that combined load, the protection circuit reads an undervoltage event and cuts power before the OS-reported percentage reaches zero. This is a voltage cliff failure, not a capacity failure. After replacing the battery, complete one full calibration cycle so the fuel gauge IC maps the new cell's actual voltage curve, and the OS percentage will track real cell state accurately.

VOOC fast charge not activating after cell replacement

Oppo's VOOC protocol requires the charge IC to handshake with the battery BMS before stepping up current. On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS may not complete that handshake, and the phone falls back to standard 5W charging. This is not a fault — it clears after one full standard-rate charge cycle. Charge to 100% at standard rate using the original VOOC cable, then subsequent sessions will re-engage the fast charge protocol normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Reno7 Z 5G shows 25% battery and just shuts off with no warning — is the new cell faulty?

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a defective cell. The new cell's discharge curve hasn't been mapped by the fuel gauge IC yet, so the OS percentage doesn't reflect real cell voltage under 5G modem load spikes. Run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate. After that cycle the coulomb counter has a calibrated curve and the shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage is jumping around — it reads 60%, drops to 41%, then climbs back up without charging.

The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. It's reading voltage and mapping it to the wrong capacity model, which causes erratic percentage jumps. This settles after one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate with no fast charging enabled. Once the IC recalibrates against the new BLP907 cell curve, the percentage will track steadily.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement — is something wrong?

A new high-impedance Li-Polymer cell has higher internal resistance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC works harder in the constant-current phase and generates more heat early on. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles and diminishes as the cell's impedance drops. Keep the phone out of a case for those first cycles to let heat dissipate freely, and check that the charging temperature stays below 40°C — if it exceeds that, switch to a lower-wattage charger for the break-in period.
