Fits Pantech PN210 mobile phones; replaces original 3.7V Li-ion battery.
3.7V, 850mAh capacity delivers sufficient charge for daily standby and moderate call time on the PN210 platform.
Battery connector matches original terminal orientation; slides into slot with no locking tab modification required.
We bench-tested this cell in a PN210 unit; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion without fault codes or delayed startup.
On first charge after installation, disable any fast-charge setting for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve before resuming normal charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Pantech PN210 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 850mAh Li-ion battery for the Pantech PN210 mobile phone. It slots into the PN210's removable battery bay and restores the phone's ability to hold a charge and power on normally. Capacity matches the original spec at 850mAh (3.15Wh).

  • PN210 battery bay fit: The PN210 uses a standard removable Li-ion cell with a three-contact connector — positive, negative, and a thermistor line the charge IC uses to monitor cell temperature during charging. This replacement cell carries that same contact layout.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran a full discharge-charge cycle on the bench and monitored the charge IC handshake. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes and the thermistor line stayed within expected range throughout the charge curve.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After installing a new cell, run the phone down to auto-shutdown once before recharging. The PN210's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle against the new cell resets the coulomb counter reference and corrects percentage readings.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the PN210 after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a defective cell. The fuel gauge IC still references the old cell's discharge curve, so it reports 25% remaining while the actual cell voltage has already dropped below the modem's minimum operating threshold. Under screen-on or active call load, the phone cuts power to protect the modem rail. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge resets the coulomb counter against the new cell, and the shutdowns stop.

PN210 won't power on after sitting in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge at roughly 1–3% per month in storage. If the PN210 sat unused for several months with a depleted battery installed, the cell voltage may have dropped below 2.5V — the threshold where the BMS locks out to prevent over-discharge damage. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. Most BMS circuits re-initialise once the charge IC pushes enough current to lift the cell above 2.8V.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Pantech PN210 show a different battery percentage after I put in the new battery?

The fuel gauge IC inside the PN210 uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. A new cell has a slightly different curve, so the reported percentage drifts from the real state of charge. Run the phone from full charge down to automatic shutdown once, then charge it back to 100% without interruption. That single cycle gives the fuel gauge IC a new reference point and percentage accuracy corrects itself.

The PN210 feels warm near the battery during the first charge after I replaced the cell — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell typically has slightly higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several cycles. The charge IC pushes current into a higher-resistance load, which generates more heat than usual during the first few charges. The warmth should reduce noticeably after two or three full charge cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the charger disconnects before 100%, stop charging and check the contact alignment in the battery bay.

My PN210 still shows zero charge and won't respond after plugging in — what do I check first?

If the cell voltage has dropped below 2.5V from extended storage, the BMS locks the cell out and the phone will not respond immediately when connected to power. Leave it on the charger for at least 20 minutes before pressing the power button — the charge IC needs time to trickle current into the cell and lift it above the BMS re-activation threshold of approximately 2.8V. If there is still no response after 30 minutes, clean the three battery contacts on both the cell and the phone with a dry cloth and reconnect.
