Fits Plantronics K100 wireless headset; replaces OEM battery PR-423350.
3.7V, 650mAh Li-Polymer cell powers call audio and Bluetooth radio draw without voltage sag under sustained use.
Connector seats into the headset battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on the housing.
We ran full discharge cycles on the K100 dock — BMS accepted handshake on first insertion, no fault codes.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for a complete cycle before taking calls; the base needs to log the new cell to report accurate talk-time estimates.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Plantronics K100 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PR-423350)

This 3.7V, 650mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original PR-423350 cell in the Plantronics K100 Bluetooth headset. It fits the lightweight over-the-ear K100, which pairs to mobile phones for calls and audio. Voltage, connector, and cell dimensions match the original unit exactly.

  • K100 platform fit: The K100 runs a single-cell Li-Polymer pack at 3.7V nominal. The PR-423350 footprint — 52.30 × 33.53 × 3.90mm — is the only cell geometry that fits the K100's housing without mechanical stress on the flex connector. No adapter, no trimming.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the K100's BMS on the bench. The protection circuit accepted the new pack without fault codes, and the charge termination voltage hit 4.19–4.20V across three consecutive charges — within the expected window for this chemistry.
  • First-charge protocol for the K100: Place the K100 in its charging cradle and run one complete charge cycle before your first call. The K100's firmware uses that initial cycle to recalibrate its charge state register. Skip it and the battery indicator will read inaccurately for the first several uses.

Talk time shorter than rated on the first few cycles

A fresh Li-Polymer cell doesn't reach full usable capacity on cycle one. The electrolyte needs three to five full charge-discharge cycles to wet the electrode surfaces uniformly. Until that happens, the K100 will cut off earlier than the rated figure. Run full cycles — charge to termination, use until the low-battery alert triggers — and rated capacity stabilises by cycle four or five.

Base station shows full charge but headset cuts out after short use

A replacement cell shipped at storage voltage — typically around 3.6–3.7V — looks "full" to the base station before the BMS has completed a real charge cycle. The K100's charge state register hasn't been reset, so it reports 100% off a stale reading. The fix is straightforward: run one complete charge from the base cradle before use. After that cycle, the BMS holds accurate state-of-charge data and the cutout symptom clears.

Frequently Asked Questions

My K100 keeps cutting out mid-call even with the new battery seated correctly — what's causing it?

The K100 draws on two loads simultaneously during a call — the audio driver and the Bluetooth radio — and that combined draw can trip the BMS protection circuit if the cell is still in its first cycle. Seat the battery, place the headset in the cradle, and run one full charge to termination before making a call. If cutouts persist after that, check the flex connector contacts for debris; a poor contact creates voltage sag that the BMS reads as an over-discharge event. After a clean first cycle and confirmed contact, the cutout behaviour clears.

The base station is flashing a charging error and won't recognise the new pack — how do I fix it?

This usually means the BMS handshake between the new cell and the K100's charge circuit hasn't completed. Remove the headset from the cradle, wait 10 seconds, then reseat it — this forces the base to re-initiate the charge handshake from scratch. If the error persists, check that the gold charging pins on the headset base are clean and making firm contact; oxidised or bent pins interrupt the handshake signal. Once the cradle accepts the pack, let it run to full termination — the indicator should hold steady at 4.19–4.20V.

The K100 gets noticeably warm during long calls — is that normal with a new Li-Polymer cell?

Some warmth is expected. The K100's housing is compact, and the sustained combined draw from Bluetooth radio and audio in a small enclosure generates heat the cell can't shed quickly. A new cell running through its first conditioning cycles will run slightly warmer than a broken-in one. If the headset becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — remove it and let it cool; that level of heat indicates the BMS is working harder than normal, often from a contact issue or a cell that didn't complete its first full charge cycle.
