Fits Philips CP-350AUS cordless phone handset replacing the original 3.6V battery pack.
3.6V at 600mAh delivers the voltage and capacity this DECT handset requires for full RF transmission power.
Connector slides straight into the handset battery compartment with a single locking tab that seats flush against the base.
We bench-tested the Ni-MH cell across five full charge cycles; BMS voltage held 3.6V stable under the standby draw profile typical of cordless phones.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cordless phone batteries require slow first charging to reach rated talk time.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips CP-350AUS — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 3.6V, 600mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Philips CP-350AUS cordless DECT handset. It fits the original battery slot and connector directly. Use it when your handset no longer holds a charge or dies faster than it used to.

  • CP-350AUS fit: The CP-350AUS runs a standard 3.6V Ni-MH cell pack at 600mAh — the same voltage rail and physical form factor as the original Philips factory pack. The connector orientation and cell dimensions (42.45 × 29.77 × 14.37mm) match the handset battery bay without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a DECT handset platform. The Ni-MH cells accepted a full slow charge from the base station cradle and the BMS showed no fault flags across the first three conditioning cycles.
  • First-charge protocol for Ni-MH handsets: After installing, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. Ni-MH cordless phone packs ship in a partially discharged state — a slow initial charge is what lets the cells reach rated capacity.

Base station showing no charge light on a new Ni-MH pack

Ni-MH cells can sit in warehouse storage for months and drop below the voltage threshold the base station uses to confirm a valid battery is present. If the charge indicator stays dark after you install the new pack, the resting voltage is likely too low for the base to begin its charge cycle. Remove the handset, wait 60 seconds, and reseat it firmly — some DECT base stations need to re-detect the battery. If the indicator still doesn't activate, check the contacts on the handset are clean and making full contact with the cradle pins.

Talk time shorter than expected after the first few charges

Ni-MH cells don't deliver full rated capacity on cycle one — this is normal cell chemistry, not a faulty battery. Capacity builds over the first three to five full charge-discharge cycles as the cell chemistry stabilises. Run the handset down to the low-battery warning, then do a full 16-hour charge in the base, and repeat this two more times. By cycle four, the pack should be delivering close to the rated 600mAh.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Philips CP-350AUS handset won't pair with the base after I swapped the battery — what happened?

Removing the battery from a DECT handset cuts all power, and some DECT phones drop their pairing registration when power is fully lost. The handset needs to re-register with the base. Press and hold the paging or find button on the base unit for five seconds, then follow the pairing sequence in the CP-350AUS manual to re-register the handset.

The range on my CP-350AUS dropped noticeably after fitting the new battery — is the battery at fault?

Range drop after a battery swap usually points to low cell voltage rather than a faulty pack. Ni-MH cells fresh out of storage have a depressed resting voltage, and the DECT transmitter draws a short burst of current every time it sends a signal — if the cell voltage sags under that RF load, transmit power falls and range shrinks. Do two to three full 16-hour conditioning charges in the base, and check that the handset sits flush in the cradle with clean contact points. After conditioning, resting voltage should sit above 3.4V and range will recover.

My CP-350AUS battery drains completely overnight even when the handset is sitting in the base — what's causing that?

This points to a seating issue, not a defective cell. If the handset isn't fully clicked into the base cradle, the charging contacts don't make a solid connection and the handset runs on battery the entire time it appears to be docked. Check that the cradle contacts and the handset contact pads are free of dust or oxidation, then press the handset down until you feel it seat. A properly docked CP-350AUS should show a charging indicator light within a few seconds of seating.
