Fits Prestigio MultiPhone 3540 Duo smartphone and replaces OEM part PAP3540BA.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 2000mAh delivers standard talk, text, and app runtime on this dual-SIM device.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with standard orientation; no adapter or modification needed.
We cycled the cell on a MultiPhone 3540 Duo bench unit — BMS accepted charge without fault codes and held voltage steady through discharge.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Prestigio MultiPhone 3540 Duo — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PAP3540BA)

This is a 3.7V, 2000mAh Li-ion battery for the Prestigio MultiPhone 3540 Duo dual-SIM smartphone. It replaces OEM part PAP3540BA when the original cell degrades or fails to hold charge. Dimensions are 52.45 × 52.07 × 7.00mm — confirm these against your existing battery before installing.

  • MultiPhone 3540 Duo fitment: The 3540 Duo runs two active SIM cards on a shared modem rail. That dual-SIM load draws from a single cell, so the battery must match the original voltage and connector pinout exactly — this unit does both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and full draw on the 3540 Duo platform. The BMS accepted charge termination cleanly and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff without triggering a false over-current fault.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated state-of-charge map.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the MultiPhone 3540 Duo

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. Under modem load — especially with two SIMs active — the cell voltage drops sharply even when the reported percentage still looks healthy. The phone's protection circuit sees the voltage dip below threshold and cuts power to protect the cell. After the replacement is installed, one full discharge-charge cycle recalibrates the fuel gauge IC so the OS percentage tracks the actual cell voltage more closely.

Phone not powering on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell drops below roughly 2.5V, the BMS locks out to prevent damage — the phone will show nothing when you press power. Connect to a wall charger (not a PC USB port) and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing anything. Most BMS circuits begin a trickle pre-charge recovery below 2.5V and will unlock once the cell reaches approximately 3.0V, at which point the phone will boot normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

The battery percentage on my MultiPhone 3540 Duo jumps around after I put in the new battery — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong with the cell itself. The fuel gauge IC inside the phone was calibrated to the discharge curve of the old, degraded battery. When a new cell goes in, the coulomb counter has no accurate reference point yet, so percentage readings jump or misreport. Run one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single cycle the fuel gauge IC re-maps against the new cell and readings stabilise.

My 3540 Duo gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — should I stop charging it?

Mild warmth on the first one or two charge cycles is normal with a new high-impedance cell. A fresh Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal resistance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates a little more energy as heat until the cell conditions. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charge current does not taper after 90 minutes, disconnect and inspect the charge port for debris. Warmth that fades after the second or third cycle is not a fault.

Fast charging stopped working on my MultiPhone 3540 Duo right after I swapped the battery — what happened?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge controller sometimes defaults to standard charge rates because it has no validated state-of-charge data for the new cell. This is a protection behaviour, not a hardware fault. Complete one full standard charge cycle to 100%, let the fuel gauge IC establish a baseline, then reconnect the charger — fast charge negotiation should resume normally from the second cycle onward.
