Fits POSH Titan HD and E500A models, replaces OEM battery part number B01-E500.
3.8V at 2000mAh capacity delivers stable voltage to the fuel gauge IC during calls and app use.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with no locking tab—orientation is fixed by the contact layout.
We bench tested this cell on a Titan HD for full discharge cycles; the BMS held steady output and accepted standard charging protocol without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle—this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

POSH Titan HD / E500A — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (B01-E500)

This is a 3.8V Li-ion cell rated at 2000mAh (7.6Wh), built to the B01-E500 specification. It fits the POSH Titan HD and E500A smartphones. Swap it when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge or shuts down unexpectedly under load.

  • Titan HD and E500A compatibility: Both the Titan HD and E500A share the same physical footprint and connector pinout. The cell dimensions — 72.05 × 57.01 × 4.35mm — match the battery bay on both variants, and the BMS communicates over the same two-wire interface the board expects.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and load discharge on the E500A board. The BMS held cutoff at the correct lower voltage threshold and accepted charge current without tripping the protection circuit.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one clean reference cycle against the new cell's discharge curve before it starts reporting percentages to the OS.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still using the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve. A new cell has a steeper voltage cliff near the bottom — when the phone pulls current for the modem or display, voltage drops fast and the protection circuit cuts power before the OS sees 0%. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and maps the new curve correctly. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% should stop.

Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage dropped below roughly 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout and will not pass current to the board — the phone shows no response even on charge. Connect the phone to a wall adapter and leave it untouched for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold before normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my POSH Titan HD show the wrong battery percentage after fitting the new cell?

The fuel gauge IC on the Titan HD calibrates its percentage readings against the discharge curve of the original cell. A new cell has a different curve, so the IC reports inaccurate figures until it learns the new one. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — that gives the coulomb counter a clean reference cycle. Percentages stabilise after that first complete cycle.

Fast charging stopped working on my Titan HD after I replaced the battery — what's wrong?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC can reject the fast-charge handshake because it has no confirmed impedance reading for the new cell. This is a protective behaviour, not a fault. Charge once at standard rate through a full cycle, and the IC will accept the higher current rate from the second charge onward. If fast charging still does not engage after two full cycles, check that the USB cable and adapter both support the protocol the E500A expects.

The replacement battery gets noticeably warm near the bottom of the phone during charging — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell converts more energy to heat during the first few charge cycles than a broken-in cell does. Some warmth near the battery bay is expected. If the phone becomes hot to hold or charging pauses and restarts repeatedly, the charge IC is throttling current — let the phone cool to room temperature and restart the charge. After two or three full cycles, internal impedance drops and the heat during charging reduces to the level you'd expect from a fresh cell.
