This is a 14.4V, 3350mAh Li-ion battery pack for the Prixton Siesta cordless stick vacuum. It replaces the original pack when capacity has dropped and suction no longer lasts through a full cleaning session. Dimensions are 70.10 × 37.10 × 37.10mm — confirm these against your existing pack before ordering.

• Siesta platform fit: The Siesta runs a 14.4V motor rail with a BMS that monitors cell voltage and current draw. This pack matches that voltage requirement and connector geometry, so the vacuum's power management system communicates with the battery correctly at startup.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack under simulated motor load and confirmed the BMS holds stable voltage through sustained draw. The overcurrent trip activated correctly when we forced a restricted-suction condition, then reset cleanly once load dropped.
• Dock charging on the Siesta: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge causes lithium cells to degrade faster than normal charge-discharge cycling. Charge the pack to full, then remove it from the dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when motor draw increases due to a partially blocked filter, not because the battery is weak. A clogged filter forces the motor to pull more current than rated to maintain airflow. The BMS detects the sustained overcurrent and reduces power delivery before the cell voltage actually falls into the low-charge threshold. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers immediately, the battery was not the cause.

Motor cutting out mid-use, then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained airflow restriction forces the motor above its rated draw, the BMS cuts the output circuit to protect the cells. After a short cooldown the BMS resets and power returns. If this happens repeatedly, check the filter and brush roll for blockages before assuming the battery is faulty. A clean motor path running at normal draw should not trip the BMS.
