Fits Ultenic D5s Pro cordless stick vacuum; replaces OEM battery CS-EDN221VX.
Delivers 14.4V at 3350mAh capacity; sustains motor torque through full cleaning cycles.
Connects via barrel connector with keyed slot; seats flush against motor housing.
Bench testing showed BMS acceptance on first insertion; discharge curve remained stable across load cycles.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock when full — continuous trickle charge degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles on cordless vacuums.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ultenic D5s Pro — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 3350mAh (48.24Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Ultenic D5s Pro cordless stick vacuum. It replaces the original pack when capacity has faded and the vacuum no longer holds a useful charge. Fits the D5s Pro only — verify your model before ordering.

  • D5s Pro fit: The D5s Pro runs a 14.4V architecture with a specific connector and BMS handshake. This pack matches that voltage rail and connector geometry. Other Ultenic models may share similar housings but use different cell configurations — do not assume cross-compatibility.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and discharge on the D5s Pro motor platform. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low-voltage threshold and accepted charge without fault codes from the stock charger.
  • Dock charging habit on the D5s Pro: The D5s Pro dock does not cut power when the battery reaches full — it continues to trickle charge. Leaving the vacuum on the dock permanently accelerates capacity fade. Charge fully, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the cell can sustain at its present state of charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling current beyond the battery's rated output at mid-charge. The BMS responds by throttling current before the indicator registers low, so suction drops while the gauge still shows charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction holds longer after that, the battery was not the primary cause.

Motor cutting out mid-run and then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or a sealed nozzle — the motor draws a sustained spike of current. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets once current demand drops. The recovery feels like the vacuum restarting on its own. Clear the blockage, check the filter, then run the vacuum again — if the cutout stops, the cause was restriction, not the battery.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Ultenic D5s Pro runs for a noticeably shorter time than it used to — could a blocked filter be causing this?

Yes. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which depletes the battery faster than a clean-filter run would. The battery gauge can look normal while runtime drops significantly because the cell is discharging harder, not slower. Remove and tap out the filter, or replace it if it looks grey and compressed. Run the vacuum again — if runtime improves, the filter was the drain, not the battery.

The D5s Pro motor cuts out for a few seconds then comes back — is this the battery failing?

Not necessarily. This is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, which happens when the motor is working against a blockage or a clogged brush roll. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets once current demand falls back within range. Check the brush roll for wound hair and clear the inlet before assuming the battery is at fault. If the cutout stops after clearing the blockage, the pack is fine.

I left the D5s Pro on the charging dock for weeks and now the battery barely holds charge — is the pack dead?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of rapid capacity fade on cordless vacuums. The D5s Pro dock does not stop supplying power when the battery is full, so the cells sit under a constant trickle charge that degrades them over time. A replacement pack will restore capacity, but the same damage will repeat if left on the dock permanently. Charge to full, remove the vacuum from the dock, and only return it when the battery needs charging again.
