Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Roborock H6 Series — 21.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (9.02.0098)
This is a 21.6V, 4000mAh (86.4Wh) Li-ion battery for the Roborock H6 handheld cordless vacuum cleaner, including H6M1A and R200001 variants. It replaces OEM part number 9.02.0098 directly. When the original cell degrades and suction weakens early in a cleaning session, this swap restores full motor voltage.
- H6 and H6M1A compatibility: These variants share the same 21.6V battery platform, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One replacement cell covers all units in this line without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the H6 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the charger, accepted a full charge without fault flags, and delivered consistent voltage under motor load across all suction settings.
- Dock charging habit on the H6: Do not leave the H6 sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge on Li-ion cells causes capacity fade significantly faster than charging only when the battery is depleted. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
The H6 motor draws higher current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder at the same fan speed. As current draw rises, voltage sags under load even though the battery still shows charge remaining. The suction drop happens because the cell can no longer hold the motor at full voltage under that elevated load, not because capacity is gone. Clean the filter first; if suction restores immediately, the battery is not the issue.
Motor cuts out mid-session and then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the H6 motor encounters sustained restricted airflow — from a blocked nozzle or a clogged filter — current spikes beyond the BMS protection threshold and the circuit opens. The battery appears dead for 15–30 seconds, then recovers once the BMS cools and resets. Clear the blockage, then power the unit back on. If the trip repeats on unrestricted airflow, the original cell's internal resistance has risen enough to cause voltage collapse on motor start — a new cell at 21.6V nominal resolves that.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Roborock H6 suction drops noticeably partway through cleaning but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?
A restricted filter forces the H6 motor to draw more current than rated to maintain fan speed. Under that higher load, the battery voltage sags even though the cell isn't depleted, and the motor loses power. Remove and clean the filter, then test again. If suction returns to full strength immediately, the battery is fine — the filter was the load source.
The H6 battery fades faster than it did when new, but the vacuum has only been used for a few months — is the replacement cell going to have the same problem?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on the H6. Li-ion cells kept on trickle charge degrade faster than cells that are charged only when depleted. With the replacement cell, charge to full and pull the vacuum off the dock rather than leaving it docked between uses. That single habit change substantially slows capacity loss over the battery's life.
The Roborock H6 won't charge after fitting the replacement battery — the charger light doesn't respond the way it did with the original cell. What should I check?
The H6 charger performs a BMS handshake before it begins charging — if the replacement cell's BMS doesn't respond on the first connection, the charger holds off. Disconnect the battery, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect it to the charger. If the charger still doesn't respond, check that the battery connector pins are fully seated and that no pins are bent. A correct BMS handshake will trigger the charger indicator within a few seconds of connection at ambient temperature.
