Fits Samsung SLB-10A digital cameras and replaces CB-105 battery packs.
3.7V and 1050mAh capacity matches original output for Samsung compact camera systems.
Flat connector with single locking tab seats into camera battery chamber without force.
Bench testing showed stable voltage delivery across discharge cycle with no early cutoff from BMS.
On first install, charge this cell fully inside the camera body — Samsung's battery recognition system requires one charge cycle from within the camera to map the new cell's discharge curve to the display indicator.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Rotanus CB-105 / FH-D90 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1050mAh Li-ion battery for Samsung compact cameras that use the SLB-10A battery standard, including models listed under the CB-105 and FH-D90 designations. It measures 43.30 × 31.30 × 7.10mm and slots into the same compartment as the original Samsung cell. Voltage and physical dimensions match the OEM spec.

  • CB-105 and FH-D90 platform fit: Both designations refer to cameras sharing the same battery bay geometry and 3.7V power rail. The connector orientation and cell footprint are identical across these models, so one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on an SLB-10A compatible body. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags and held a stable voltage curve through the full discharge range.
  • First-install charge cycle on Samsung bodies: Before shooting, seat the battery and run one full charge cycle through the camera body or OEM charger. Samsung's battery-remaining indicator maps to a discharge curve it calibrates on first charge — skipping this step causes the percentage display to jump erratically.

Flash recycling slowing down as the cell drains

The flash capacitor in compact cameras draws a surge of current each time it recharges between shots. As cell voltage drops toward the lower end of the discharge curve — typically below 3.5V under load — the capacitor takes longer to reach full charge. This shows up as slower recycle times and, in some cases, reduced flash output on the last quarter of charge. Avoid shooting sustained flash sequences when the indicator shows one bar remaining.

Battery percentage jumping erratically on the display

Samsung compact cameras map their fuel gauge to a specific discharge curve stored in the camera's BMS. A new cell with a slightly different internal resistance profile can cause the indicator to read high, then drop several bars at once. This is a calibration mismatch, not a faulty cell. Run two full charge-to-discharge cycles through the camera body and the gauge will stabilise to accurate readings.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Samsung camera shows "no battery" or won't power on after I installed the replacement — what's happening?

Some Samsung compact bodies run a quick authentication check on first install and reject an unrecognised cell until it's been through one charge cycle in the camera body or OEM charger. Remove the battery, reinsert it, and charge fully before attempting to power on. If the body still won't recognise it after a full charge, try a power cycle by holding the shutter button for ten seconds with the battery seated. That clears the BMS handshake flag on most SLB-10A compatible models.

The shot count is much lower than I expected — is the cell capacity too low?

The rated 1050mAh reflects capacity under standard discharge, but shot count depends on what the camera is doing between frames. Continuous autofocus, optical image stabilisation, an active LCD, and frequent flash recycling all pull current simultaneously — each one cuts into the available capacity beyond what the spec figure suggests. Cold conditions also reduce usable capacity temporarily as internal resistance rises. Count the shots under your actual shooting conditions before drawing conclusions about cell capacity.

The battery percentage dropped from 80% to 20% in a few shots, then the camera died — why did it collapse so fast?

This is a voltage sag event. Under a burst of flash recharges or continuous video, load current spikes and cell voltage briefly dips below the camera's low-battery cutoff threshold, triggering a shutdown even though charge remains. The camera reads instantaneous voltage, not state of charge, so a high-draw sequence can pull the reading below cutoff while the cell still has usable energy. Let the battery rest for two minutes at room temperature, reinsert it, and power on — you'll typically see charge has returned to a readable level, confirming sag rather than depletion.
