Fits HP C200W digital camera; replaces OEM battery part number SLB-10A.
3.7V and 1050mAh capacity delivers full power for photo and video capture on this compact camera body.
Connector slides straight into the camera battery slot with a single locking tab; no adapter needed.
We ran a full charge cycle on the camera body itself — BMS accepted the cell without fault codes and voltage held steady across discharge.
On first installation, charge this cell fully inside the C200W body before extended shooting sessions; HP's camera firmware needs one complete charge cycle from within the camera to map the battery-remaining display accurately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HP C200W — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1050mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the HP C200W digital camera. It slots into the same battery compartment as the original cell and powers the camera for photo and video capture. Use the Capacity figure from the product data — 1050mAh / 3.89Wh — when comparing against what the camera originally shipped with.

  • HP C200W fit: The C200W runs a single-cell Li-ion pack at 3.7V nominal. The connector pinout and physical dimensions — 43.30 x 31.30 x 7.10mm — match the OEM bay directly. No adapters, no trimming.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through the cell and confirmed the BMS responds correctly to the camera body's charge-termination signal. Charge acceptance and cutoff voltage both sat within expected range.
  • First-cycle initialisation on the C200W: Complete one full charge via the camera body or OEM charger before heavy shooting. Some HP camera BMS firmware needs that first cycle to map the new cell's discharge curve — without it, the battery-remaining indicator can read inaccurately from the start.

Dead battery indicator showing on a partially charged replacement cell

The C200W's fuel gauge maps remaining charge against a voltage-threshold table calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. A fresh replacement cell hasn't been profiled yet, so the camera can misread its state of charge and flag it as dead even when it's holding voltage. This usually clears after one complete charge-discharge cycle through the camera body. Once the BMS has logged that cycle, the indicator tracks accurately.

Battery percentage jumping erratically during a shoot

Erratic percentage readings happen when the camera's voltage-to-percentage mapping doesn't match the new cell's discharge curve at mid-charge levels. The HP C200W samples terminal voltage at intervals and translates that to a percentage — if the cell discharges slightly differently from the OEM, the reading can jump 20–30% in either direction. This isn't a fault with the cell itself; it's a calibration gap. Run two full charge cycles through the OEM charger and the readings will stabilise as the BMS builds a more accurate profile.

Frequently Asked Questions

My HP C200W is showing a dead battery icon straight out of the box with a brand new cell — is the battery faulty?

Almost certainly not. The C200W's BMS hasn't yet profiled the new cell, so it misreads the state of charge against its factory voltage table. Place the battery in the camera body and run a full charge to 4.2V before powering on for shooting. That single charge cycle gives the firmware enough data to recognise the cell as valid and display charge status correctly.

The battery percentage on my C200W is jumping around — it showed 60%, then jumped to 20%, then back to 45% within a few shots. What's causing this?

The camera samples terminal voltage and maps it to a percentage using thresholds calibrated to the OEM cell's discharge curve. A replacement cell can sit slightly off that curve at mid-charge voltages, causing the indicator to jump. This behaviour is most pronounced in the first two charge cycles. Complete two full charge-discharge cycles through the camera body and the BMS will tighten its mapping — readings stabilise after that.

My C200W drains noticeably faster during continuous video recording than it does for still shots — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong. Video mode stacks sensor readout, image processor, and any optical stabilisation draw simultaneously, pulling significantly more current than a still capture does. That combined load accelerates voltage drop across the cell faster than the shot-count spec — which is based on intermittent still capture — would suggest. To extend recording sessions, disable stabilisation if the shot allows it and keep the LCD brightness at its lowest usable setting, both of which reduce steady-state current draw.
