This happens when the motor draws more current than rated — usually because the filter is partially blocked. The BMS reads the voltage sag on the cell string as a low-battery condition and throttles power to protect the cells. The indicator hasn't moved, but current demand has spiked. This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery.
