Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Rowenta RH6751WO / RH6756WO Series — 22.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SS-9100042161)
This 22.2V 2500mAh (55.5Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Rowenta RH6751WO, RH6756WO, RH6753WO, and related cordless stick vacuum models. It uses the OEM part number SS-9100042161 and fits the same battery slot and connector. When the original pack no longer holds a full charge, this cell restores the vacuum to full motor voltage.
- RH6751WO and RH6756WO series fit: These models share the same 22.2V battery bay, connector pin layout, and BMS handshake protocol. A battery that clears the handshake on one clears it on all variants in this cluster — the motor controller won't run without it.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the RH675x platform. The BMS responded correctly to motor-start current draw, held steady voltage under full suction load, and tripped appropriately when we simulated a blocked nozzle restriction.
- Dock charging on this vacuum: Charge this battery to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock. Leaving it docked continuously exposes the cells to trickle charge current for hours beyond full capacity — this accelerates capacity fade faster than normal discharge cycling ever would.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the RH6751WO
When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws higher current to maintain airflow. That extra draw causes the battery's output voltage to sag under load — suction weakens even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. The BMS reads available voltage, not filter restriction, so it won't flag the real cause. Clean or replace the filter first; if suction recovers immediately, the battery was fine and the filter was the draw.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. Sustained restricted airflow — a blocked nozzle, a full dust cup, or a clogged filter — forces the motor to pull current above the BMS trip threshold. The BMS shuts the motor off to protect the cells, then resets after a short thermal delay. Clear the restriction, then press the power button to restart. If it trips again immediately under normal conditions, check that output voltage holds above 21.0V at rest.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Rowenta RH6751WO vacuum loses suction halfway through cleaning but the battery light still shows full — is the battery failing?
Not necessarily. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to pull higher current, which causes the battery's output voltage to sag under load — suction drops even though charge remaining looks fine. Clean the filter and empty the dust cup first. If suction holds after that, the battery was delivering correctly and the restriction was the cause.
The motor on my RH6756WO keeps cutting out for a few seconds then coming back on — what's happening?
That cut-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip. When airflow is restricted — blocked nozzle, full dust cup, or a clogged filter — the motor draws current above the BMS protection threshold and the pack shuts off briefly to protect the cells. Clear every restriction along the airflow path, then restart the vacuum. If it still trips under unobstructed conditions, check that the battery rests above 21.0V before use.
My replacement SS-9100042161 battery won't charge on the Rowenta dock — it just sits there with no indicator light.
The RH675x charger runs a BMS handshake before starting the charge cycle — if the pack voltage has dropped too low, the charger won't initiate. Connect the battery and leave it on the dock for 15 minutes without touching it; some chargers will attempt a slow recovery pulse before the indicator activates. If the indicator still doesn't light after that, measure the pack voltage directly — a reading below 18V means the cells have discharged past the charger's recovery threshold and the pack needs to be replaced.
