Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Rowenta Dual Force 2 in 1 — 18.5V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SS-9100043101)
This 18.5V, 2500mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Rowenta Dual Force 2 in 1 cordless vacuum. It fits the RH6735WH/AM0, RH6736WH/AM0, RH6737WH/AM0 and related models in the Dual Force range. Swap it out when the original pack no longer holds a useful charge or refuses to charge at all.
- Dual Force RH673x series fitment: These models share the same 18.5V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. A single cell swap restores both the handheld and stick vacuum modes without any modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the RH6735WH platform. The BMS negotiated correctly with the Rowenta charger, cells balanced across all groups, and the overcurrent cutoff triggered at the expected threshold under a simulated blockage load.
- Dock charging discipline on the Dual Force: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on its charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge from the dock degrades cell capacity faster than normal use cycles. Charge to full and remove the vacuum from the dock until the next clean.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The Dual Force motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted. Under that extra load, the battery voltage sags earlier than the fuel gauge expects, so suction weakens while the indicator still shows adequate charge. The BMS reads actual cell voltage, not the indicator logic, and begins reducing power delivery to protect the cells. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll before assuming the battery is at fault — a clear airpath restores rated motor draw and the voltage sag disappears.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When sustained airflow restriction forces the motor to pull beyond the pack's rated current threshold, the BMS disconnects the output to protect the cells. The pack resets after a short thermal and electrical recovery window, which is why power returns without pressing any button. Check the filter — if it is clogged, cleaning it stops the trip from recurring. If the filter is clear and the cutout continues, measure resting pack voltage after a full charge; it should read at or above 21V.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my Rowenta Dual Force lose suction halfway through cleaning even though the battery light isn't flashing?
The battery indicator on the Dual Force tracks estimated charge, but actual motor output is governed by cell voltage under load. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which drags cell voltage down early and reduces suction before the indicator catches up. Check and clean the filter first — this is the most common cause. If suction recovers after cleaning the filter, the battery is fine.
The motor on my Dual Force cuts out for a few seconds then comes back on its own — what's causing that?
That self-resetting cutout is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent event, not the battery going flat. Restricted airflow — from a clogged filter or blocked brush roll — forces the motor to pull beyond the pack's current limit, and the BMS disconnects the output to protect the cells. It resets automatically after a brief recovery window. Clear the filter and brush roll; if the trip keeps happening on a clean machine, charge the pack fully and confirm resting voltage reads at or above 21V before investigating further.
My replacement battery fades noticeably faster than the original did when it was new — is continuous dock charging the cause?
Yes, this is the most common cause of accelerated capacity fade on the Dual Force. The dock delivers a continuous trickle charge once the pack is full, and lithium-ion cells held at full charge under constant current age faster than cells that are charged and then rested unpowered. Remove the vacuum from the dock once charging is complete. Charge only when the pack is meaningfully depleted and you will see significantly slower fade over the battery's service life.
