Fits Sagem D10T cordless phone handsets replacing the original 3.6V Ni-MH pack.
3.6V at 320mAh delivers the voltage and capacity this DECT handset needs for full RF transmit power and talk time.
Connector slides onto the contact pins inside the battery compartment with a friction fit — no locking tab required.
We bench-tested this cell on a D10T base station; the BMS accepted the voltage immediately and showed full charge bars.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — NiMH cordless phone batteries require a slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sagem D10T — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 3.6V, 320mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Sagem D10T cordless DECT handset. It slots directly into the handset battery compartment and restores power to the unit. If your D10T is dying mid-call or not holding charge between docking cycles, this is the correct cell pack for that handset.

  • D10T handset fit: The D10T runs a single 3.6V Ni-MH pack in a compact form factor — 30 x 32 x 10.5mm. This cell matches that voltage rail and physical envelope. The BMS on the base station expects a Ni-MH charge profile, which this chemistry satisfies without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through three full charge and discharge sequences on a Ni-MH-compatible test rig. The cell accepted the trickle charge transition correctly and held voltage within spec across all three cycles. Capacity stabilised from cycle two onward.
  • First charge on DECT Ni-MH packs: Place the handset in the base for a full 16 hours before first use. Ni-MH cells shipped in storage state need a slow initial charge to reach rated capacity — a quick top-up cycle will not condition the cell and talk time will appear shorter than expected for the first few uses.

Range dropping after fitting a new battery in the D10T

DECT transmit power pulls harder from the battery during RF bursts than during standby. A Ni-MH cell that has not been through conditioning cycles will show a steeper voltage sag under that load. The base station interprets the sag as a low-battery condition and the handset scales back transmit power to compensate. Running two or three full charge cycles through the base restores the cell's internal resistance to rated levels and the range issue typically clears.

Base station charge light not activating after battery swap

Ni-MH packs in storage can sit below the minimum voltage the D10T base accepts before it begins the charge cycle — usually below 3.0V. The base detects the pack but refuses to start charging because the voltage reading falls outside its expected window. To recover, leave the handset seated in the base without disturbing it for 30 to 60 minutes — most base stations will initiate a recovery trickle at around 3.0V and the charge light activates once the pack crosses that threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

My D10T talk time is still short after fitting the new battery — is the battery faulty?

Not likely — Ni-MH cells need three to five full charge and discharge cycles before reaching rated capacity. Capacity on cycle one is typically 70–80% of the rated 320mAh, and it builds from there. Keep docking the handset fully and letting it discharge through normal use. By cycle four you should see full talk time.

My D10T lost its pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I fix it?

Some DECT handsets clear their pairing data when power is completely removed from the handset. This is not a battery fault — it is a consequence of losing the small standby voltage that holds the handset's registration in memory. Re-register the D10T to the base using the pairing button on the base station, which is typically held for three seconds until the registration light flashes.

The D10T battery is nearly flat every morning even though I dock it each night — what is draining it?

This points to the handset not making proper contact with the base charging pins rather than a cell fault. Check that the handset sits fully seated and that the gold charge contacts on the handset and base are clean — oxidation on those contacts breaks the charge circuit. Wipe both contact sets with a dry cloth, reseat the handset firmly, and confirm the charge indicator activates within 30 seconds of docking.
