3.7V 900mAh lithium-ion replacement cell fits Saiet BASIC and compatible models; restores standard smartphone operation.
Voltage sits at 3.7V nominal with 900mAh capacity — delivers 3.33Wh total energy for calls, messaging, and apps.
Connector type and slot orientation match OEM hardware; cell seats flush without force and locks into the battery compartment.
We bench-tested this cell on discharge cycles; BMS accepted voltage profile and delivered steady current without cutoff anomalies.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Saiet BASIC Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 900mAh Li-ion cell for the Saiet BASIC, FOCUS VOL, Like Pronto, Prime, and two additional compatible models. It replaces an original cell that no longer holds a useful charge. Voltage and physical dimensions — 53.00 x 34.00 x 4.80mm — match the OEM specification.

  • BASIC and FOCUS VOL platform fit: These models share the same battery bay geometry and 3.7V single-cell supply rail. One cell covers all listed variants — no connector adapter or physical modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full discharge-charge sequence and monitored BMS cutoff behaviour. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold and resumed charge acceptance without fault.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one full cycle to map the new cell's discharge curve before the OS starts reporting accurate percentages.

Why the Saiet BASIC reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the BASIC stores a learned discharge curve from the previous cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the fresh 900mAh cell. The OS reads state-of-charge from the IC, not directly from cell voltage, so the percentage shown is based on stale calibration data. One full discharge-charge cycle overwrites the old curve and brings the readout back into alignment.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

A freshly installed cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. When the modem transmits or the screen brightness spikes, current draw causes a brief voltage sag that drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the displayed percentage still reads 20–30%. The phone interprets the voltage drop as cell depletion and shuts down. After two to three full discharge-charge cycles, internal impedance drops and the sag narrows; the shutdowns typically stop without any further action.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Saiet BASIC won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out the cell to prevent damage after voltage dropped below roughly 2.5V during storage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell until it crosses the BMS recovery threshold before normal charging resumes. If the battery icon appears on screen, the cell has recovered; charge fully before first use.

The percentage on my Saiet BASIC is jumping around erratically — 60% one minute, 45% the next — even when I'm not using it heavily.

This is the coulomb counter recalibrating against a cell discharge curve it hasn't seen before. The fuel gauge IC is making repeated estimates as it maps the new 900mAh cell's voltage profile. Run one uninterrupted discharge from 100% down to auto-shutoff, then charge straight back to 100% without unplugging mid-cycle. That single full cycle gives the IC enough data to stabilise the readout.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges — is the new cell faulty?

A new Li-ion cell starts with higher internal impedance than a used one. The charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, which generates more heat than you'd see from a broken-in cell. Surface warmth during the first two or three charge cycles is normal and decreases as impedance settles. If the phone feels hot to the touch or charging stops before 100%, check that the charger output matches the original spec — use a 5V/1A adapter rather than a high-current USB-C brick until the cell has completed its initial cycles.
