Fits Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ models SM-X620, SM-X626, SM-X820 and replaces OEM part EB-BX828ABE.
Voltage 3.86V and 9800mAh capacity restore full charge cycles on this large-screen tablet.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left edge.
We cycled the cell on a Galaxy Tab S10+ charge dock; the BMS accepted negotiation without fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration and resolves inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ — 3.86V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BX828ABE)

This 3.86V, 9800mAh (37.83Wh) Li-Polymer battery replaces the original EB-BX828ABE cell in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+. It fits SM-X620, SM-X626, SM-X820, and related variants. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge across a full day of tablet use.

  • Tab S10+ platform fit: The SM-X820 and SM-X626 variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — all confirmed against the EB-BX828ABE specification. One replacement cell covers both Wi-Fi and LTE configurations.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a Galaxy Tab S10+ unit. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, completed a full charge sequence, and held the final voltage within spec at 4.35V cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installation, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. This single full cycle lets the fuel gauge IC map its thresholds against the new cell and eliminates the erratic percentage readings that commonly appear after a battery swap.

Galaxy Tab S10+ shutting down at 15–25% remaining

This happens when the fuel gauge IC still holds calibration data from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage curve under the combined load of the AMOLED display and active Wi-Fi, causing the system to read 0% before the cell is actually depleted. The BMS triggers a protective shutdown at what it calculates as the low-voltage floor. Run one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — the fuel gauge resets its discharge curve and the shutdowns stop.

Fast charging not available after battery replacement

Samsung's adaptive fast charge and USB-PD negotiation can stall on the first charge cycle after a new cell is installed, showing only standard charge speeds. The charge IC on the new cell needs one complete accepted charge handshake before the tablet's power management layer re-enables the higher-current protocol. Plug into the original Samsung 45W adapter — not a third-party charger — and leave the tablet undisturbed for the full first charge. Fast charging typically resumes from the second cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Galaxy Tab S10+ is showing 80% battery but just switched off — why?

The fuel gauge IC calibrated its discharge curve against the old, worn cell. The new cell's voltage drops faster under the combined load of the display and Wi-Fi at lower charge levels, so the system hits the low-voltage protection threshold before the percentage reaches zero. This is a calibration mismatch, not a fault with the replacement cell. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — the gauge resets and unexpected shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage is jumping around or reading wrong after I replaced the battery — is that normal?

Yes, and it's temporary. The Samsung fuel gauge IC spent months learning the discharge curve of the original cell. After a swap, its reference points no longer match the new cell's actual voltage behaviour, so the displayed percentage drifts. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by a continuous charge to 100% forces the IC to re-map its thresholds against the new cell. After that single cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

My Tab S10+ feels warm while charging after the battery swap — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth during the first few charge cycles is normal. The charge IC on a new Li-Polymer cell draws slightly more current as it establishes initial charge parameters, generating more heat than a fully conditioned cell. If the tablet is warm but touchable and not hot near the USB-C port, continue charging normally. If the heat is concentrated at the port or the tablet becomes too hot to hold, disconnect and check that the connector is fully seated at 4.35V cutoff before retrying.
