This 3.86V, 9800mAh (37.83Wh) Li-Polymer battery replaces the original EB-BX828ABE cell in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+. It fits SM-X620, SM-X626, SM-X820, and related variants. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge across a full day of tablet use.

Fast charging not available after battery replacement

Samsung's adaptive fast charge and USB-PD negotiation can stall on the first charge cycle after a new cell is installed, showing only standard charge speeds. The charge IC on the new cell needs one complete accepted charge handshake before the tablet's power management layer re-enables the higher-current protocol. Plug into the original Samsung 45W adapter — not a third-party charger — and leave the tablet undisturbed for the full first charge. Fast charging typically resumes from the second cycle onward.

Mild warmth during the first few charge cycles is normal. The charge IC on a new Li-Polymer cell draws slightly more current as it establishes initial charge parameters, generating more heat than a fully conditioned cell. If the tablet is warm but touchable and not hot near the USB-C port, continue charging normally. If the heat is concentrated at the port or the tablet becomes too hot to hold, disconnect and check that the connector is fully seated at 4.35V cutoff before retrying.
