Fits CAT BM1S1B and S75 smartphones; replaces OEM part number CCW5000-1.
This 3.87V, 4800mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers the same capacity as the factory pack for full-day operation.
Connector sits flush into the battery slot with a single locking tab at the base; orientation marked on the cell itself.
We bench-tested this pack on the BM1S1B platform — the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes and held voltage stable under sustained modem load.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

CAT BM1S1B / S75 — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (CCW5000-1)

This 3.87V, 4800mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original CCW5000-1 battery in the CAT BM1S1B and S75 smartphones. It matches the OEM voltage rail and physical footprint — 80.00 x 63.80 x 5.00mm — so it seats correctly in the battery bay. Use the capacity figure from this listing: 4800mAh (18.58Wh).

  • BM1S1B and S75 compatibility: Both models share the CCW5000-1 form factor, the same flex connector pinout, and the same BMS handshake protocol — that's why one cell covers both SKUs without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge-discharge cycles on a BM1S1B unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC reached 4.35V cutoff as expected on the first supervised cycle.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before fast charging pushes high current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the CAT S75 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or screen load at a point the gauge hasn't learned yet. The phone sees the voltage drop, interprets it as critically low, and shuts down — even though the reported percentage looks safe. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate lets the coulomb counter re-anchor to the new cell and eliminates the premature cutoff.

USB-PD fast charge not triggering on the first cycle after replacement

On the first cycle, the BMS in a new cell may not complete the handshake required for the USB-PD fast charge protocol. The charger falls back to standard 5V charging as a safety measure. This is normal behaviour — the BMS needs one standard charge to initialise. After the first full cycle completes, reconnect the fast charger and confirm the charging icon changes to the fast-charge indicator.

Frequently Asked Questions

My CAT S75 shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the S75 is still reading the discharge curve of the old cell, so it can't accurately track where the new cell's voltage drops under load. The phone cuts out when it detects a sudden voltage sag it doesn't expect — not because capacity is low. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then a full charge at standard rate, and the coulomb counter will recalibrate to the new cell curve.

The battery percentage on my BM1S1B jumps around erratically after the swap — sometimes it gains 5% without charging.

Erratic percentage jumps are the fuel gauge IC recalibrating after seeing a cell it hasn't mapped yet. The coulomb counter loses accuracy when the reference discharge curve changes, so readings become inconsistent until it builds a new baseline. Do not top up or interrupt the cycle mid-way. Let the phone discharge fully to shutdown, charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the gauge will stabilise from that point.

My CAT BM1S1B won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months before I fitted it.

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks current flow to protect the cell from damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.
