Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Gear S3 Classic / Frontier — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BR760ABE)
This 3.85V, 350mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the original EB-BR760ABE battery in the Samsung Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier smartwatches, including SM-R760 and SM-R770 variants. It restores full charging capacity to a watch where the original cell has degraded. Dimensions are 31.10 × 23.32 × 5.26mm — measure your existing cell before fitting if unsure.
- Gear S3 Classic and Frontier compatibility: Both the Classic and Frontier share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — they draw from the same 3.85V cell platform, which is why one part number covers both chassis.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on SM-R760 hardware and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell without throwing a protection flag. The fuel gauge IC re-referenced correctly after a full charge cycle from near-zero.
- Post-swap charging step: After fitting the new cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and charge to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on the Gear S3 platform cannot calibrate its state-of-charge reference without one complete charge cycle from near-empty after a cell swap.
Why always-on display and continuous heart rate monitoring drain the Gear S3 faster than expected
The Gear S3's always-on display (AOD) mode keeps the AMOLED panel drawing current continuously rather than only on wrist raise. Pair that with the PPG-based heart rate sensor polling every second, and the combined draw can be two to three times higher than basic notification-only usage. A 350mAh cell is the OEM spec for this chassis — the platform was tuned around it. If drain seems excessive after swap, check AOD and continuous HR settings in Galaxy Wearable before assuming a cell fault.
Watch showing 0% and refusing to power on immediately after battery swap
This is a fuel gauge IC calibration loss, not a defective cell. When power is removed during a swap, the MAX17 series fuel gauge on the Gear S3 board loses its stored state-of-charge reference and defaults to 0%. The watch will not boot past the Samsung logo until it reads a valid charge level. Place it on the charger and leave it until the display shows at least 5% — it will power on normally from there, and the gauge recalibrates fully by 100%.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Gear S3 won't pair with my phone after I replaced the battery — what happened?
Removing the battery cuts power to the Bluetooth controller, which drops the active BLE session and clears the encrypted bond key stored in volatile memory. The watch and phone treat each other as unknown devices after that. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, go to About Watch → Disconnect and Reset, then re-pair from scratch. The watch data itself is not lost — only the wireless pairing link needs to be re-established.
The new battery drains in about a day but the old one used to last two or three days — is the replacement cell faulty?
Not necessarily. A new cell at full impedance draws current differently than a worn one, and the fuel gauge IC takes several full charge-discharge cycles to relearn the capacity curve. For the first week, always-on display and continuous heart rate monitoring can make drain look worse than it is while calibration settles. Turn off AOD and set heart rate monitoring to every 10 minutes for three days, then re-enable both — if drain stays at one day after five full cycles, the cell may be worth testing with Samsung's hardware diagnostics via the *#0228# service menu.
The magnetic charger clicks into place but the watch won't charge — the charging icon never appears.
The Gear S3's magnetic pogo pins require direct metal-to-metal contact across all four points — if the back cover shifted even half a millimetre during reassembly, one or more pins lose contact. Remove the charger, reseat the watch back cover firmly until it clicks, then realign the charger so the magnets pull it flat with no tilt. If the icon still does not appear, clean the pogo pins on both the watch and charger with a dry cotton swab, then test at a known-good USB power source rated at 5V/1A or above.
