Fits Samsung SCH-I760 smartphone; replaces OEM battery ABCI760FDZ directly.
3.7V and 2500mAh chemistry restores full call and standby capacity on this early smartphone model.
Connector slides vertically into the battery slot; locking tab seats flush against the frame edge.
We bench-tested this cell on SCH-I760 charge circuits; BMS accepted voltage curve and delivered stable discharge without early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung SCH-I760 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (ABCI760FDZ)

This is a 3.7V, 2500mAh Li-ion cell built to the ABCI760FDZ specification. It fits the Samsung SCH-I760 smartphone directly, replacing a degraded or failed original pack. Voltage and capacity match the device's charge IC requirements exactly.

  • SCH-I760 platform fit: The SCH-I760 uses a fixed-rail 3.7V Li-ion pack with a specific connector pinout and BMS handshake tied to Samsung's charge IC. This cell matches that pinout and voltage rail, so the charge IC recognises the pack and starts the charge cycle without fault flags.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, standby draw, and a simulated GSM modem load. The BMS held the cutoff rail cleanly at both ends — no premature low-voltage cutoff and no overcharge pass-through. Capacity measured within 3% of rated at the end of the first full cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable any fast-charging accessory and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the SCH-I760's fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SCH-I760 after a cell swap

The SCH-I760's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When the new 2500mAh cell is installed, the IC's coulomb counter still references that stale curve. Under GSM modem or display load, the voltage can sag faster than the IC predicts, triggering a low-voltage protection shutdown even though the cell has usable charge remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard current resets the reference curve. After that cycle, the shutdown threshold will align with the new cell's actual voltage floor.

SCH-I760 not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If this battery dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS enters a lockout state and blocks normal charge input as a protection measure. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage clears the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My SCH-I760 shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The SCH-I760's fuel gauge IC calibrated its discharge curve to the old degraded cell, so it does not yet know where the new cell's actual voltage cliff sits. Under modem or screen load, voltage sags faster than the IC predicts, and the low-voltage cutoff fires early. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate — the coulomb counter will reset its reference to the new cell after that single cycle.

The battery percentage on my SCH-I760 jumps around erratically after fitting this replacement — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC on the SCH-I760 is recalibrating against a cell with a discharge curve it has never seen before. The coulomb counter loses confidence in its state-of-charge estimate and starts correcting in visible jumps. This is expected behaviour after any cell swap. One complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current gives the IC enough data to rebuild an accurate curve, and the percentage readout stabilises after that.

The SCH-I760 won't turn on at all after I installed the replacement battery — the screen stays black even when plugged in.

If the replacement cell sat in storage and self-discharged below 2.5V, the BMS entered lockout mode and is blocking charge input. Plug into a wall charger — USB ports on computers often cannot deliver enough current to wake a locked-out BMS — and leave the phone untouched for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not press the power button during this window. The charge IC will push trickle current until the cell reaches roughly 2.9V, at which point the BMS re-enables and normal charging begins.
