Fits T-Mobile LGE739 and myTouch smartphones with original 3.7V 1500mAh battery.
3.7V nominal, 1500mAh capacity delivers 5.55Wh — matches stock output for normal call and messaging runtime.
Connector slides straight into battery slot with locking tab oriented toward device frame edge.
We bench tested against a stock LGE739 cell; BMS initialized on first insertion with no fault codes or delayed handshake.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile LGE739 myTouch — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the T-Mobile LGE739 myTouch smartphone. It fits the myTouch directly, matching the original voltage and capacity spec. Dimensions are 64.50 × 44.40 × 4.50mm — confirm against your existing cell before installing.

  • LGE739 myTouch platform fit: The LGE739 and myTouch share the same battery bay geometry and 3.7V voltage rail. The BMS handshake on this platform is straightforward — no proprietary authentication token, so the replacement cell is recognized on first boot without a firmware unlock.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the LGE739 platform. The BMS accepted the replacement without fault codes, and the charge IC ramped current normally through CC and CV phases.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, disable fast charging if available and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle lets it map the new cell and report accurate percentages.

Why the LGE739 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The myTouch uses a coulomb counter in the fuel gauge IC to track charge state. That counter builds its model against the original cell's discharge curve over many cycles. Swap in a new cell and the IC is still running the old curve — so it misreports the state of charge until it can relearn. One complete discharge from 100% to automatic shutoff, followed by a full charge, forces the IC to reset its reference points against the new cell chemistry.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC's stored curve predicts more remaining capacity than the cell can actually deliver under load. When the modem transmits or the screen peaks brightness, current draw spikes and the cell voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the OS still shows charge remaining. It is not a defective cell. Run two full discharge-charge cycles and the IC recalibrates its sag model. After recalibration, shutoff voltage should track closer to 3.4–3.5V under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My LGE739 won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for months — new battery installed but still nothing

A cell that sat in deep discharge may have dropped below 2.5V, triggering BMS lockout — the protection circuit opens and blocks all current flow. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on; the charge IC needs to push a trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold. If the charge LED does not light within 10 minutes, check the battery connector is fully seated. Once the cell reaches approximately 3.0V, the BMS re-closes and the phone should boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged the replacement battery in my myTouch

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC sometimes defaults to standard current until it completes one full CC-to-CV phase with the new cell. This is normal — the IC is profiling internal impedance before it allows higher current. Let the first charge complete fully at standard rate without interrupting it, and fast charging typically resumes on the second cycle.

The battery percentage on my LGE739 keeps jumping around erratically — goes from 45% to 60% then back down

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve, and the mismatch causes erratic percentage readings. This is not a faulty cell — the IC simply has not completed a full reference cycle yet. Run one uninterrupted discharge from full charge down to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without removing the phone from the charger mid-cycle. After that single calibration cycle, percentage reporting should stabilize.
