Fits Schiller Argus OXM C and Care Vision HP100 pulse oximeters; replaces OEM part number LI103450-2S.
7.4V 2000mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 14.8Wh for continuous patient monitoring without mid-session dropouts.
Connector seats into the vertical slot with positive terminal up; locking tab slides flush against housing.
We bench-tested this cell in the Argus OXM C load profile — BMS accepted the charge handshake cleanly on first insertion with no fault codes.
On first use, let the device complete its full power-on self-test without interruption; medical devices run BMS verification at startup, and interrupting this sequence causes a false battery fault that persists until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Schiller Argus OXM C — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LI103450-2S)

This is a 7.4V, 2000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Schiller Argus OXM C portable pulse oximeter and the Care Vision HP100. It replaces OEM part number LI103450-2S. The Argus OXM C uses this cell to power continuous SpO2 and pulse rate monitoring in clinical and home settings.

  • Argus OXM C and Care Vision HP100 fitment: Both devices run the same 7.4V two-cell Li-ion pack with an identical connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol, which is why a single part number covers both platforms.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through full charge and discharge cycles on the Argus OXM C. The BMS accepted the cell, completed its initialisation sequence, and reported accurate state-of-charge throughout. No false low-battery flags after the first full conditioning cycle.
  • Post-swap startup protocol: After fitting this battery, let the device complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The Argus OXM C runs a BMS verification step at boot — cutting power mid-sequence can lock in a false battery fault that does not clear until the next complete reboot.

Device not completing boot sequence on new battery

The Argus OXM C runs a self-test at startup that includes a BMS handshake. A replacement cell that has been in storage may sit below the threshold the device expects to see at boot, even if the cell is not deeply discharged. The device interprets this as a fault and halts before the main screen loads. Charge the battery fully before the first installation — do not fit it straight from the packaging and attempt to power on.

Charge indicator not reaching 100% on first charge

The Argus OXM C charge IC applies a conservative upper limit on cells it has not yet profiled. On a new LI103450-2S pack, the first charge often terminates between 90–95% as the IC holds back until cell impedance data is established. This is not a defective cell or charger fault. Run one complete charge-to-discharge-to-charge cycle and the indicator will reach 100% consistently from the second charge onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Argus OXM C is alarming low battery right after I charged the new replacement — what's happening?

The Argus OXM C BMS uses a voltage threshold calibrated to the OEM cell's chemistry profile. A new replacement cell may read slightly below that threshold on the first cycle because the BMS hasn't completed its learn cycle yet. This isn't a fault with the battery. Run one full charge-discharge cycle and the alarm will clear on subsequent use.

The Argus OXM C won't power on at all after the battery sat unused for several months — is the cell dead?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the pack dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the Argus OXM C's BMS will block power-on as a protection measure. Place the battery on charge for a minimum of 30 minutes before attempting to power on — most BMS circuits include a trickle pre-charge recovery mode that will bring the cell back above the reinitialisation threshold of around 6.0V for this 7.4V pack.

The Argus OXM C shut off unexpectedly mid-monitoring session with the new battery — the original never did this.

Medical monitoring devices apply a dynamic load profile that stresses new cells harder during the first 10 cycles — internal resistance is higher in a fresh cell, and voltage sag under load can trip the BMS cutoff even when state-of-charge appears adequate. This is not a compatibility issue. Complete five to ten full charge-discharge cycles before relying on this battery in a clinical monitoring session; sag-induced cutoffs resolve as the cell's internal resistance normalises.
