Fits Siemens Openstage WL3 and CUC325 cordless phones, replacing OEM part L30250-F600-C325.
3.7V, 900mAh lithium-ion cell restores full talk and standby time to the handset.
Connects via flat blade connector; slides into battery slot with positive terminal forward.
We bench-tested this pack on the Openstage WL3 base charger — BMS accepted voltage within two cycles.
After installing, seat the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge cycle; lithium-ion conditioning differs from the original NiMH chemistry and requires this extended first charge to stabilize capacity reporting.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens Openstage WL3 / CUC325 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (L30250-F600-C325)

This 3.7V, 900mAh Li-ion battery replaces the OEM pack in the Siemens Openstage WL3 and CUC325 cordless DECT handsets. It matches the original L30250-F600-C325 specification exactly, including cell chemistry and connector orientation. Capacity is sourced from product data — 900mAh / 3.33Wh.

  • Openstage WL3 and CUC325 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and 3.7V charging rail from the base station. A single cell format covers both handsets without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a controlled rig. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff and accepted a full charge from the base station cradle without error flags.
  • First-charge protocol for the WL3 base station: After fitting the new battery, seat the handset in the base cradle and leave it undisturbed for a full 16 hours before use. The WL3 base delivers a slow trickle charge — pulling the handset off the cradle early interrupts the cycle and the cell will not reach rated capacity on first use.

Talk time shorter than expected after battery swap

A fresh Li-ion cell does not always deliver full rated capacity on its first cycle. The electrochemical layers need two to three full charge-discharge cycles before the cell stabilises at 900mAh. If talk time feels short in the first week, run the handset down to the low-battery warning, then return it to the base for a full uninterrupted charge. By cycle three, capacity should be consistent.

Handset not pairing after removing the old battery

The Openstage WL3 stores its DECT pairing registration in volatile memory backed by the battery. When the old battery is fully discharged before removal, that registration is lost. Re-register the handset to the base by pressing and holding the pairing button on the base station until the LED flashes, then triggering the registration sequence from the handset menu under Settings. The handset should pair within 90 seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Siemens Openstage WL3 shows a charging error on the base station after fitting the new battery — what's wrong?

A new Li-ion cell shipped from storage can sit at a lower resting voltage than the base station's acceptance threshold. The base sees the low voltage and flags it as a fault rather than beginning a charge cycle. Remove the handset, wait 30 seconds, then re-seat it firmly — the base should re-poll the cell and begin charging. If the error persists, check that the handset contacts and cradle pins are clean and making full contact.

The WL3 handset is draining to flat overnight even though it's sitting in the base — is the battery faulty?

This is usually a seating issue, not a cell fault. The WL3 base cradle requires the handset to click fully into position for the charge contacts to engage. If the handset is even slightly out of alignment, it runs on battery in standby rather than drawing from the cradle. Remove the handset, wipe the gold charge contacts on both the handset and cradle with a dry cloth, and re-seat until you feel the physical click.

Range on my WL3 dropped noticeably after swapping to the new battery — is something wrong with the cell?

DECT transmit power is managed by the handset firmware and draws from the battery's voltage headroom. On a cell that has not completed its first full conditioning cycle, voltage sags under the RF transmit burst — the firmware reads this as a low-power state and backs off signal strength. Run two to three complete charge-discharge cycles and range should return to normal. If range is still reduced after three cycles, confirm the base station antenna is unobstructed and positioned at least one metre off the floor.
